ha ha!! what an asshole! That guy who rang in and said "I was playing GTA for 3 hours one morning, and I was late for an appointment so at the lights I drove up onto the pavement al la GTA"
his argument was that playing video games affects how you behave. Fuckin stupid asshole.
All the Daily Mail readers with their Royal commemorative wall plates and Corrs cd's will go bananas over this game and there will be uproar in this country.
I just sent this email to the BBC:

Its ridiculous to suggest that GTA can affect human behaviour to that degree. does that mean we should stop kids from reading Dostoyevesky because of Raskolnikoff's muderous nature in "Crime and Punishment"? Granted GTA is interactive but "Crime and Punishment" is far more mentally absorbing and engaging than a video game which is clearly light relief.

The box of the game clearly says its not suitable for kids and has mature content.... so its their problem if they go around doing violent stuff.

I played on PS2 last night. It was great game. I have never seen such a good game in my life. But at the moment, after the missions i only earn respect. Does anybody know when i will earn money?

If you want money, mug people who look like they'd be carrying cash. Alternatively, take out drug dealers (you get $2000 per dealer). They're the guys just standing still, waiting for people to talk to them. They normally have black tops.

It only got 9.6 from gamespot which GTA3 and Vice City got, has changed much looks like the GOTY is gonna go to Halo 2.

I left my house today with 2 Uzi's and stole a motorbike to get to work, on my way across the Brooklyn Bridge I gave myself 30 seconds and gunned down as many Peurto Ricans as I could. I don't blame the game though, this is normal for me. Don't panic. Just letting you guys know. Don't be afraid to be yourself, even if it mimics GTA.

Does anybody know what American states the GTA series has mocked-up so far in total (a list of them would be handy)? I love the idea of being able to say "I'm in a California mood today" and putting Vice City in etc., if you see what I'm getting at.

vice city isnt california. thats san andreas. vice city is miami, florida.
gtaiii was ny i believe.

GTA: Liberty City = Elements of New York (late 90s/early 00s?)
GTA: Vice City = Miami (80s)
GTA: San Andreas = Los Angeles/Cali/Las Vegas (90s)

Playing this game I cant help feeling whats next for the GTA series. Will Rockstar crank out another one for next christmas or will they just work on a title for the PS3? Is there any news of what theyre going to do next?

I don't think they'll go outside america but I'll really like them to do the London with all the chavs but I don't think anyone outside the UK will understand.

I reckon they'll either go back to the mafia or prob sumthin like the triads or yardies

I'm hoping they won't go all ancient and go back to the wild west and shit.

Just finished GTA. What a game it was!!! Now to do the sub-missions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG...you lot weren't kidding when you said it was big. :shock:

At first glance I thought to myself that it was actually smaller than what I expected. A few missions in and I was getting lost left, right and centre.

Just reached this mission, not finding the fuel a problem, iots just surviving.....my plane keeps blowing up oin the last guy..getting really pissed off. BTW hpow shit are Z's missions?

Take tht back, the fuel is aslo a bastard...after a perfect run still didnt make it back..what a shit mission, did rockstar really have to include the shitty RC's again

muthafucka, knew there had to be a draw back about getting the pre released version. got to the mission with catalina after chasing the rednecks on quadbikes have done this about 3 times, every time i do it the game freezes when im heading up to the hut after getting the briefcases. so i figure fuck it il buy the game, cause it well worth it and ive loads to get thru. put my brand new copy into the ps2 try to load the game but the muthafucka won't recognise my saved game from the pre released version.20 fricking hours worth. lifes a bitch. anyone else get this problem?
