Argentine giants Boca Juniors have unveiled their new Nike 105th Anniversary kit.
The new limited edition Boca jersey recognizes the Swedish national flag. Legend has it that when trying to decide the colors of the newly formed club, the club’s founders (a group of Italian immigrants) saw a Swedish ship docked in Buenos Aires. They liked the blue and yellow of the Swedish flag that adorned the vessel and adopted it a Boca Junior’s colors.
Each Boca Juniors Nike 105th Anniversary shirt will feature embroidery featuring the shirt’s unique number and the text Bostero desde 1905.
The Boca Juniors Nike 105th Anniversary kit will be worn for the first time during January 20th’s Súper Clásico with archrival River Plate.
