Probably with a really nice Credit Card, the guy wont lose out in the long run though thats for sure. Though in saying that, arent those Core packs?!

OK it looks like if you haven't preordered then Toy R Us is going to be your best bet. I have rung the Preston Branch and The Manchester Branch both confirm that they will be getting Xbox's in on Friday it will be sold on a first come first serve basis. The Manchester Branch said that they are getting 40 (20 premium and 20 Core), the Preston Branch did not say how many they are getting in.

By the time the PS3 is released, PC technology will again have progressed and will mean that they look very similar too.

I dont understand what people expect from 360, its like a top top end PC for £300. Its not suppsed to fly, or make tea, just produce good looking games on a par with the higest end PC's available at the moment.

This is something the original XBox couldnt do, hence this being next gen.

Its down to the developers yet again which is great news. Due to a lack of PAL machines, I believe so far the only confirmed are US games working on the Japanese machines. Probably about 4/5 IIRC, you'll need to Google it or IGN to get the titles though.

Games arent region free from what ive heard. Its a big shame because if they were we wouldnt feel the need to modchip the console in order to play some quality Imports.

Well PGR3 has been sent from Play.com - however I still don't know if I am getting a 360 in the first shipment from Amazon!

i played here in the states, played COD2, well it was just like people are saying, just like the PC, but the controler i used sucked, so hard to aim, using a mouse makes this game... It was on a LCD tv so not sure if it was being displayed in HD or not, if so, it didnt look all that great to me... if i had more time i would have played more games... but COD2 was OK, nothing great

Same as Kenny ... My Premium Pack has also been dispatched from Gameplay... even though i wasn't expecting it.

No games dispatched by tesco or gameplay yet though

Not getting one from Play, found out that my backup plan (going to my 24 Hour Asda at 9pm tonight) won't work either, as there are 6 people already queing there and have been there since about 12. They've got the premium packs.

12 fucking hours. And I thought going 3 hours before was hardcore.

Summary: No XBox 360 for me, and probably not for a while :(

Aaah shite, I didn't think there'd be that much of a queue over here, looks like I was wrong. I'll drop in about 6pm anyway if there's nobody queuing I'll stay but by the sounds of what you've just said I'll have no chance.

12 hours !! what sad bastards...... I will wait till the new year and in the meantime will take the extra time to invest in an HD-Ready LCD TV..
