9:43 - The cut-scenes look amazing in this game. It's hard to believe they're real time. The combat sequences have easily the most impressive smoke and cloud effects I've ever seen. There seems to be quite a bit of story in the game. Holy crap that was an amazing trailer. I'll try to describe it in more detail once I get home. 360 fans cheer again

Okay. Let's step back and think about this. Ninja Gaiden Sigma comes to PS3 to give PS3 owners a little taste of the fantastic game that is Ninja Gaiden. Then microsoft makes Ninja Gaiden 2 a 360 exclusive to lure the fans of the game into buying a 360.

Sounds like a plan to me.

10:34 - [Infinite Undiscovery Trailer Description] There's a moon on a collision course with the world. The world beings to crumble. The trailer has CG and realtime battle elements. The battle sequences look really choppy, almost like an online game. They're going to speak about the game now.
 
10:37 - I'm not sure I'm understanding what the battle system is about. The game is also going to take place completely in realtime. It's really early in development. They're not able to share a release date at this time, although they don't expect it to be too far off.

10:35 - Tri-Ace's Hiroshi Ogawa, director of the game takes the stage. He's going to explain the game. The keywords of the game are discovery and impact. The game has a Situation Battle System.
 
10:42 - [Last Remnant Trailer Description] Begins on Eulam Island. A girl and his brother. A monster kidnaps the girl and flies off. This is the beginning of the boy's adventure. Shots of some of the big remnants. As the trailer asks who created the remnants, and for what purpose? The trailer is in full English.

The visuals have definitely come a long way since the Square Enix party. There are a couple of short battle scenes with lots of characters fighting. Very impressive.
 
not suprised about Ninja Gaiden 2 as Ninja Gaiden has always been an xbox game.

but its all about Rez and Ikaruga. I am gonna get out my Dreamcast and play these both tonight.. :)
 
Not played either of them, I believe Rez is good, not interested in Ikaruga (fighting game isn't it?)
 
Nope, tis a top down vertical shooter which was touted as Treasure's sequel of sorts of Radiant Silvergun, it was released on the GameCube too. Most notable thing about it, if you turned your TV on its side, you could have a HUGE vertical screen. Tis pretty rock, but its great news about it being XBLA content, all they need now is Radiant Silvergun added next year...........
 
Yeah, but if I had no way of getting the FIFA 08 demo, I would be swinging from a rope somewhere in EA HQ and delivering roundabout kicks to the head.

You can understand his frustration. Thank God for multiple accounts, that's all I can say.

Well all the good words on FIFA 08 have convinced me, must find an Xbox 360 by Sept 28th. What's your guys advice on place to pick one up? Given the warranty (and the need for it!) I think I'll spend that little extra to avoid used - what's the best online site in the UK?

Thanks for any help, looking forward to getting thoroughly whipped on Live :)!
