I think that's what it is actually, I've played CoD 5/Forza 2/PGR 4/Tomb Raider Underground this week and I've tried messaging in all of them, no problem whatsoever.
 
Well if it is that is the case, tis about time EA just let MS put its games on Live and used their servers for the PS3 and PC games they put out, tis not as if they can put content up on Live without MS certification process.
 
Yeah, they should do. The EA Servers are fucking wank at the best of times.
 
Might be a bit slow on the uptake here, but found a great Mac program last night for streaming media.

Called 'Rivet', used it last night and it streamed 3 episodes of House wirelessly to my 360 in another room with no lag, stutters or anything - was as perfect as watching it on the laptop.

Dead easy to use - think the full version is $15, but you can view 1 video per 'session' (i.e. just reboot Mac and start it again). I'll probably buy it.

Does music/video and images.

Has anyone got a good website where they get their Xbox Live subscription from? Mine is due to expire on 22nd June.

I would guess you can find cheaper ones on eBay if you have a look
 
Got one off eBay the other day for £28, off a guy called "microsoftpoints". Don't know if that works out cheaper than CW's site above and I can't be arsed working it out :D
 
just to update you on the freezing problem i have had since nxe came out

i removed fifa from the hdd and i am now playing off the disc, and i get no freezes at all now
 
Is it possible to transfer save files from one HDD to another using a USB Pen drive or do you need the official MS thing?

No and no.

You can do it by connecting the 360 HDD to your PC and then copying files from it to your PC, then copying the files back to another 360 HDD, I did this to create a copy of my saves/profiles to use on a second 360.
 
I just got another 360 with a bigger HDD.

I think it came with a transfer lead thing, not checked yet, but I reckoned it would be easier to just transfer the saves only.

I thought you could get a MS thing to back up saves, I must have dreamt it.
 
I got a new xbox because my other one broke and i got a 60gb hdd with the new one but all my saves and stuff are on my old 20gb hdd, is there anyway i can put everything from the 20gb to the 60gb?
 
i believe 20gb to 60gb is not allowed using the official cable. What i did with this situation (also 20 --> 60) was to buy a memory unit and transfer every file across :|. Took a while but i dont have many save games :). And just left the ones i would never play again on the old HD.

hmm i'm unsure, i was kinda liking the whole 3/4/5 thing going on :P

he surely could get a hold of cod 4 second hand easily for like £20?
 
Its not as easy to get hold of as you think

Players seem to be on that one more than COD5, maybe thats why its still over £30 in the shops
