According to the Game site - 360 Elite = £200 trade in --- 360 Premium = £140 trade in

I read that someone took their halo 360 in to trade and...

Halo 3 Edition 360 to trade £200 credit at gamestation and £140 at Game

The games ... x men and tomb raider id guess at about £10-15 ... COD 4 at about £15-20 trade in -- pads... maybe £10-13 for both

Gamestation offer you shit prices.

I asked about my Elite. £120 cash or £150 trade. CEX would've gave me £150 cash or £200 trade.

I ended up selling my Elite on AVForums for £190.

Have we got another defector in Coopz?!

Be quality if we all end up on PS3 - missed our 5v5s :(

Live+GTA on the 360 is far to good to get rid of at presant

I hit a "wow" moment again yesterday, when i was just thinking of all the stuff you can do in GTA and how flawless it all works

ability to drive any Cars/Choppers/Bikes with numerous Guns and Big Maps thrown in how can you go wrong

why is online side bad on it?

ill get a PS3 when they start making better games, until then ill stick with this ;))

Take a look at Radiation's posts over the last week or two, GTA not only wouldn't work online half the time but it blew up his console. :|

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fanboy, I have both consoles, blah blah blah, was just making a joke. I don't envy Rad though.

Yeah GTA knackered my 60 gig HDD - it seems to be a problem just with the 60 gig PS3's as well --- so if you have a 40 gig your ok. But i like the features the 60 gig has, thats why i bought it.

And online has been hit and miss at times, probably as its such a gigantic game its too much for the servers to handle.

Speaking of the servers ... The online is crappy at times because they use Gamespy servers and as their not being paid £40 from each PSN user they obviously wont put as much money and effort into the amount of servers and the ability of the servers as XBL.

A lot of PS3 games have worked perfectly online from day 1 but the odd few have had problems at launch for a week or two.

mate sorry, but its really hard for software to knacker hardware... unless access to the hardware via the software was poorly programmend, but this would be on the sony side and not rockstar side...

Well the problem i was having was the console wouldn't load up any discs fully -- they would go past the playstation 3 logo and then return me to the main menu with an error code.

I thought it was a disc drive error but when i gave the error code to sony - it came up as a problem with something installing or saving/loading to the harddrive. So as the games where trying to load a save or check data i had installed they where crashing back to the menu.

They asked what i had installed recently, any firmware updates or games. GTA was the only one. As soon as i told them i had installed GTA they said to me "And that will be on a 60 gig console right?"

On the net ive only found news about my error code, gta and the 60 gig console with sony and rockstar saying they have no idea why its happening.

Other than this problem with GTA I've had no troubles.

Jonney you probably suffocated your 360's and thats why you went through so many of them. I put my Elite in a quite small space (as people stated in the gaming set up thread) it 3 red lighted on me. Got it repaired and now its out in the open and it doesnt run so hot and I reckon will last the distance (DVD Drive allowing).... you watch it go and 3 red light on me tonight!!

u know what. im gunna post a pic on exactly where my 360 was placed and you be shocked with the amount of head room it has around it. i even stacked 2 cd cases at the middle bottom of it to raise it off the wooded desk and nothing at the back is blocking the air. infact the window is 3 feet away from the console, nothing is behind it blocking the vents.

i dont think you believe me when i say i had it in a proper ventilated area and i dont exactly live in a hot county. im here in rainy cold london!

No matter what you do the older 360s will eventually break

as i have said the newer ones with the new cooling dont

well i aint heard anything about new consoles breaking down

all my mates have old ones and they have all broke , actually 2 have Elites and they have had no problems

I aint fussed about it breaking anyway, ill just send it back to get fixed

Right, I'm investigating the ways of bridging your internet connection to basically turn your laptop into a wireless adapter.

Ima try a friends 360, and if it works, I'm gonna pick one up. Some good deals/games to be snapped up at the moment.

I just connected my 360 to my laptop with a standard ethernet cable and it worked fine.
