Manchester United Thread

I feel so dirty posting in hhere but it wont be a regular thing so I think I can deal with it.

Tonight I am heading to OT to watch Man Yoo Vs Euro All Stars, lets hope its a cracker

Woah Woah woah, I know I don't post much, but is the flame bait really necessary? I recall Ronaldo pulling United out of quite a few ruts this season... (That and from most of your posts, it does seem like you are forum troll material :/ )

This CL game will be painful for me either way  I'm a Roma native, but I'm also a really big United Supporter, so I win, and I loose no matter what. I would absolutely love to see Roma win though, just because it's really the only thing we have to go after, Inter has been playing immaculately in the Serie A, so this is it for us. Though you're dealing with an Italian defense here, I've seen many an attacking player put the white flag up in Italy and go play in the EPL because they cannot cope with an Italian defense. Who knows, maybe Rooney will be on his period that week :lmao:

Oh look it's another fanatical 'supporter' who follows two clubs. I really don't get it . . .

I'm a quarter-Scottish, half English and quarter-Spanish, I don't support Celtic, United AND Barcelona!

It is ridiculous. True supporters only have ONE club & passion.

Complete bollocks from someone that's been to Old Trafford twice.
I have three teams. Stockport was where I was born so I supported them on friday night (remember the days\\:o/ ) and then I'd go to United on a saturday. Now I live in Japan, I support my local team here, but I'm still passionate about my teams back home.

Well then what do you do when those teams face each other?
You have to support one more than the other. Surely you dont support them equally. And the one you pick would be considered "your team".

It was a win-win situation when Stockport played Man Utd in 1978 at Old Trafford. Of course, realistically I wanted United to win as Stockport had no chance of winning the FA cup but IF Stockport had won(and should've won that night too), it would have been something to remember forever.

... and you have known me since?

I was going to Old Trafford with my uncle back when you could stand up, get a Peters pie for 30p and see Robson strutting his stuff. How do we all know you've been to Old Trafford? We don't. So button it you J-league/lower-divison/Premiership fan-boy. ;)

Back on-topic, anyone see Man United v Europe XI last night? Ronaldo's free-kick was SPECTACULAR.

no you support rangers, united and madrid:d

i support 2. i did support rangers as a kid, buh it faded away after a while, but i have always supported man utd. i also support a irish league team, linfield fc, but if i lived in england then it would be different because i would go every to a united match, were as because i live in n.i i go to watch linfield every week. o aye and i support my country(you have to)

Anyone else feeling a bit nervous about the league? Chelsea were utter rubbish last night, but still comfortably saw off Citeh, possibly without breaking a sweat. We have Bolton which should be pretty tough this weekend, and a much tougher run in the the blues. Then again, only need to not lose 2/draw 1 of our last 9 games, something we're moer than capable of.

Thought Dong didn't look to shabby when he came on the other ngiht, would ilke to see him have a run out if we're winning a game by a decent margin. Smith on the other hand looked lost. He was invariably behind Ronaldo and Rooney when they broke, kind of negating the point of being a striker...

Gareth - I support Rangers and Madrid? Since when? I think all Scottish football is AWFUL! I pretended to like Madrid for obvious reasons that only older Evo-Webbers will know. :)

beachryan - I will be feeling nervous until we actually SEE Gary Neville lifting the Premiership trophy!

Today La Marca wrote that Ronaldo going to Madrid next season is a done deal, no matter what the cost.

Hope not.

they said that about Fabregas too! La Marca are so rubbish! there uses is good only for when toilet paper runs out(shit stirs and whinding clubs up...parasites)
