Manchester United Thread

I think the fact that it is at Old trafford is the key. Cant remember the last time arsenal troubled us at home.

yeah.......i just hope that our defense won't give the ball away that easily!!!

remember Henry is VERY VERY hungry...and in such a huge match...he will be looking to get his touch back and if he does score one.....i can see him pounding alot!!!

i'll take this Celtic game as a warm-up against arsenal.....let's see us win both the games!!!!

United out the cup, Becks gets a boot from Fergie.

However, i still think we are physically short, and will still be bossed by a confident United. Unless the beast plays in the middle, Fabregas, and Gilberto will be overrun. It will be a great game, and I expect Wenger to deploy the 4-5-1 that we used in the CL last season.
 
Remember last game at Old Trafford when Toure blocked Rooney's shot with his hand? :lol:
You weren't too threatening that game either, but Wenger's focus was the CL at the time and he didn't even start with Henry.
I can see the likes of Henry and Van Persie exploiting our somewhat shaky defense this time.
 
They normally are, but last two games they were, how shall I put it? They didn't scream confidence. :lol
Did you see that very close chance Watford had against us when someone had a shot across goal and both Brown and Rio slid and missed the ball? And I'm pretty sure there were some dodgy back passes last game but can't remember specifics.

cole was the best fb ive seen against ronaldo...

Ronaldo aint playing tomorrow so like henry he will be well rested...

I completely forgot about that. Ronaldo himself said on MUTV that Cole was the toughest opponent he's ever faced. We even had to switch flanks in that FA Cup final because of this.

I'm finding it very hard not to be overconfident about this game.
 
Im actually thinking it will be tough, Arsenal need to sort themselves out sometime and where better to do it than at Old Trafford? Id love a repeat of last seasons game.... well except a repeat of Arsenal's Lucky 2nd Keeper Kolo Toure!! but a nice 4-2 Thriller will do me nicely with John O'Shea chipping in a glorious 4th :)

Well Henry is a doubt for wednesday for the arse, and if he is out for the Old trafford trip its absolutley no chance for them.

i always think we're gonna win, thats my red tinted specs but i never think it in an overconfident way if you know what i mean...

remember arsenal coming to our place with the 50 not out t-shirts, thats over confidence and look how they reacted after the game, and in some people eyes they have never recovered from that....

its gonna be a tough game, remember that for all the talk about arsenals bad start to the season if they beat us, all that will be forgotten...

like celtic tomorrow its gonna be a tough game, we've gotta look on it like that and I want the players to work for it not just think they can turn up and win, we could do that a few seasons ago, but not anymore...
 
I hope we can score consistenly in the Champions League. If we can do that we'll have gotten over our main problem in the previous two CLs.

Getting excited, hoping for a good win, love the European weeknights!!!

Good to see Rooney back, though would be happier with both him and Ronaldo. Better not get himself sent off again!
 
Hopefully we will beat Celtic tonight... also to that Arsenal Nob end who replied sarcasticly to my post I put an LOL at the end of me saying "it should be an easy 3 points" which means I was joking. So I wasnt contradicting anything when I said "I think it will be a tough game"..... Learn to read mate! Oh I forgot Arsenal fans cant do that....
