Your forgetting Tevez is a big fan of United.
So was/is Ronaldinho.
I think Tevez will just end up being another Torres.Every year rumored to sign with a big club, but nothing happens,

No he wasnt.chopaaa said:So was/is Ronaldinho.
I'm not too sure if Ronaldinho is a United fan or not but its well known that he always choose Man United when playing PES5 with his peers.RuneEdge said:No he wasnt.

umm apparently van bommel let it slip and said soemthing like, "i want to be in attack and now that ballack is gone, and owen is going to united, i can do that..."airjoca said:I thing Van Bommel will simply replace Ballack.
So, no Heargreaves for you! Come back, one year!![]()
ummm did you watch the cup? cichno sat on the bench... cafu and r carlos started on the outside...airjoca said:Cicinho and Robinho were the best players in Brazil's WC me thinks. They were also very involved in the good 2nd half of last years season for Madrid.
Considering the fact that an english player with half his talent would cost you twice as much, i'd say definetly get him!
Because when opposing teams "park their bus", you need everybody going forward. It's good to have options.
Edit: take us (Benfica) for example, we have Alcides and Nelson at RB.
Alcides is tall, slow, a good defender, doesn't go forward that much. Nelson is short, can't defend that well, but attacks very well, and can beat opponents in 1 on 1 situations. The decision to play one or the other usually relies on which team we're playing againt.

exactly, he played one game in a meaningless match for brazilMilanista said:Cicinho played when Brazil rested, like against Japan.
Kenny M said:i hope utd do not try to sign him. they now play fast attacking football and i don't think he would contribute to that. saha has changed the attack by making runs left, right and deep and asking for the ball over the top. i thought trezeguet was like ruud and held the ball up? does he run at the defenders and scare them with pace?
yeah mate, i think your on to something there.. i think some people have been saying tevez might not be able to adapt to the prem, i think he can given time.... rooney or saha can play the hold up striker position very well.. they can knock down balls and let ronny and tevez have at it... lets see if this happensMauras said:I fully agree.
Manchester is looking as exciting as they have not looked in the past years bacause:
- Saha, one of the most underrated excelence strikers in the PL is showing he should have got more chances, earlier on.
- Ronaldo is starting on demolition man mode.
Trezeguet will not bring much to Man Utd attack. Tevez would be the right choice. Saha supported by Tevez, Rooney and Ronaldo would be a very difficult setup to stop.
Scholes seems to be like Giggs. The older they get, the stronger they fight to maintain their own high standards. We dont really need Hargreaves unless we're gonna use 4-3-3 from time to time. Cuz otherwise he'll just be an alternative for Carrick.ss4_goku said:i'm still not quite sure about Tevez.....probably i'm still concerned with his lack of passing!!! but..i'm sure he might prove me wrong if he does come....
as for Hargreaves...when will this end man?? like enough of him...is he coming or not?? if he is...great...if not, save up the money and get someone next year or in January....Scholes can last for a good year or two i believe!

airjoca said:Right, but if you find a brazilian anywhere in the world that wanted Cafu playing instead of Cicinho i'll buy you a beer.
how about the coach of brazil, i like guiness... thanksairjoca said:Right, but if you find a brazilian anywhere in the world that wanted Cafu playing instead of Cicinho i'll buy you a beer.
both you guys are nuts, r carlos was the weak link not cafu, cafu looked fine... i thought...chopaaa said:I agree.Only reason Cafu was playing is because everybody wanted him to improve his WC record.Other than that i still can't see why Cafu was paying. They could have used Rivaldo as well, their fitness is on a very similar level.Couldn't have been worse than it was actually.
Mauras said:today Karagounis from benfica said in the papers that benfica stands an obvious easy chance of qualifying. So here is the proof of what I was saying. it's this stuff we hate about benfica around here. Some respect (and even sense of ridicule) would be welcomed.
Celtic is a very strong team, specially at home and Manchester United this year is super impressive. The problem is that benfica fans (and papers) take last years comedy game, in which even the most hated benfica player scored in a game with 2 goals out of 2 shots as a rule to follow.
One thing is true and I've written about it: portuguese have been having UK teams for breakfast in the last years with a ridiculous ease (both club and national team level). Let's see if it remains that way this year in benfica group. The fans (and players) surely sound (over) confident.
PS - About Airjoca saying benfica are playing good it's the perfect example of benfica's overconfidence. Benfica just won 3-0 against a austria wien that lost 7 first team players and that hasn't won a game in 8 this season!. In pre-season games they took several defeats, including a 3-0 against AEK and other against Sporting CP so hardly "playing well in recent times".

beachryan said:Trezeguet? Well given his general work rate I'm sure he'll be happy to sit on the bench a bit. Doesn't strike me as a United player, but then he does have that knack of scoring goals, and there are going ot be times this season where we need someone like that. I thought it was Ole, but as long as he's ridiculously cheap I'm alright with it. Is he marketable?
