they must be talking to man city then :)

i hope utd do not try to sign him. they now play fast attacking football and i don't think he would contribute to that. saha has changed the attack by making runs left, right and deep and asking for the ball over the top. i thought trezeguet was like ruud and held the ball up? does he run at the defenders and scare them with pace?

Trezeguet only finishes, but few or even none do it better than he does.

I read somewhere that Tevez's agent denied that sort of deal.He cited that,that kinda of transfer would be too complicated on Tevez's family and the player himself does not want that.I'm my opinion,going to United is much much more easier for him.He can walk straight into the team with the number 10 on his back.The chances of playing half a season or more is definitely higher if he would be at United that at Chelsea.Has anyone noticed our new 4-2-3-1 formation lately? Rooney,Tevez and Ronaldo would murder defences in the Premiership.Add Giggs,Richardson and Park to that equation to give you experience and depth.We'll see who we got before thursday.
 
Just saw Real Madrid x Villareal, that ended 0-0.

Two comments for you guys:

- I don't think you'll miss Ruud that much.

- Senna would be very usefull in your team.
 
Senna had a great game. Now I wish we had signed him. Ruud looked stale to be honest. I think SAF knew he was past his best.

Yeah, Real fans are going crazy about that. Cappelo wants to play Salgado and have Ramos as his substitute. That's just crazy. If you have the money get him now. Cicinho and Ronaldo on the right wing anyone?
 
No cicinho is a crap defender. And Cappello knows this thats why he didnt play him. He is good going forward but he cannot for his life seem to track back and ends up leaving a gaping hole. I remember the same thing happened when Real played Arsenal, cicinho is shit, please Man Utd dont even think of getting him.

And trezeguet is overrated. I hope those awful rumours are not true that we want him. He plays like Ruud except he is even more lazy.

And atleast Hargreaves does his job right. Cicinho is a defender that doesnt defend. Thats like having a winger with all the flair in the world but lacking the ability to cross.
 
Cicinho and Robinho were the best players in Brazil's WC me thinks. They were also very involved in the good 2nd half of last years season for Madrid.

Considering the fact that an english player with half his talent would cost you twice as much, i'd say definetly get him!

Because when opposing teams "park their bus", you need everybody going forward. It's good to have options.

Edit: take us (Benfica) for example, we have Alcides and Nelson at RB.
Alcides is tall, slow, a good defender, doesn't go forward that much. Nelson is short, can't defend that well, but attacks very well, and can beat opponents in 1 on 1 situations. The decision to play one or the other usually relies on which team we're playing againt.

It's good to have options... ;)

The only reason why ManU didn't end up paying all that money for somebody everybody made fun of for so many years, is because uli honess(bayern munich manager) didn't let him go.

Hargreaves is still crying about it in the german press, and hoeness is still claiming that even though manchesters offer is great, they will not let hargreaves go.

It's not like O'Shea and Brown are the best in defending in the world. ;)

At his best he's pretty good but he seems to make the occasional bad tackle which ruins his game IMO.
 
We dont need defenders.Our defence department is well covered that we even have to loan out Pique and Bardsley,two of our most impressive reserve players...I'm not in favour of signing Trezeguet,he wont fit into our swift gameplay.Its either Hargreaves or Tevez for me before the end of this week.

My thoughts exactly. I think though we should give up on Hargreaves and try and sign Senna again or go for West Ham's Reo Coker since their obvious easier options since Bayern dont look like they will budge.

I really don't see tevez heading for ManU or an english club at all.

i think he will go to Milan, Chelsea is too crowded(in my opinion, but thats why the want to give him on loan for a year, if they get him anyway).

But after he returned to his everyday duties for corinthians, im not sure if he'll leave at all.

Bayern will be dumb to not accept the offer ManU made for Hargreaves, he would be the most expensive player a bundesliga club ever sold.They will never get an offer that good for him, and he wants to leave, so i would let him go.
