Manchester United Thread

Bayern are acting like twats. They need to give him to us, he does not want to play for them any longer.

he has a contract for 4 years so he DOES whatever bayern say

until his contract gets to the last year or runs out he has no say whatsoever where he plays, if he didn't want to stay there that long he should've signed a shorter contract

instead he signed it then decides to throw his toys out of the pram which makes him a twat not bayern

bayern do not need to GIVE him to you, would you be happy if the mancs sold plassy to real just because he said he wants to play for them?

thought not, just because united are one of the biggest teams in the world doesn't mean every other team should bend over and let you fuck them just because one of their players (WHO HAS A LONG CONTRACT) wants to play for you

shite attittude of a fucking shite club

Wooohooo! Why the year we swith to the ugliest jersey since that green/yellow checkered thing (what were they thinking)?! But hey, licenced united = less editing for me :) Thanks TG!

the green and yellow was going back to the very old shirt (newton heath days?) much like arse did with the purple one last year.
can't understand anyone that doesn't buy a red shirt really. How much better would the Stretford end look with just red instead of the united colours of united

So becuse he is under contract for 4more years, he should be treated in whatever way bayern see fit and bound by the club against his will even though he has paid his loyalty for over 9years being at the club.

Plenty of players decide they want to leave when they are under contract its not new. People change their minds and especially when interest from another club come about and its a once in a life time opportunity. Even your hero Gerrard wanted to leave one minute when he was under contract and then the next minute he wants to stay at liverpool(god knows why) Players now a days rarely see out their contracts

Why the hell ask me a question if you already think you know the answer? Actually if a player had served United for over 9years and his dream was to play in his homeland one day, and a club came in for him and he said wanted to play for them and no longer had his heart in it for United then yes I would actually be happy for him to leave with all the best wishes and a thanks for his services for the club. Just look at John obi wanker mikel. When he said he wanted to play for chelsea although he signed for United, we eventually came to an agreement with chelsea and gave him to them because his heart was only set on playing for chelsea and we dont want anyone at the club who isnt ready to sweat blood and tears wearing the red shirt.

The same thing with Hargreaves, his heart belongs to us now, his desire is to put on a United shirt. Bayern should respect that and negotiate with United for the best possible deal.

Somebody from soccergaming said something similar.I think its clear that the fans and club knows that they are resigned to lose Owen Hargreaves eventually. Its just a matter of time and money now.I dont think any club would ever want to keep a player who has his heart set on playing elsewhere.Even Chelsea, the richest club in the world cant keep Gallas at bay.Anyway, did anybody saw Fernando Torres in Manchester today?

Where did you hear that he could have been in manchester today?
Well Tevez has gone on strike against his club so he is a option(Hargreaves should do the same to be honest). Both torres and tevez are both only 22,so dont really care which one we get if we do go for a striker. Although tevez is a bit more agressive with his style of play and torres has better speed. I think getting a midfielder is the main priority.

Could still care less about Tevez/Torres. Think we'd be best served leaving Torres in his league for another season, doubt his value will go up from the stupid amounts being touted around. I saw a big of Tevez in the WC, but he was played more on the wing. I mean, he's clearly very talented, but I do wonder how he'd adjust. We've got Gabi to help, but still - 22 and Argentinian...big money gamble. I don't see SAF doing it.

I totally agree with Alucard - that's exactly how I felt when Ronaldo was rumoured to want away, let him go. Ditto Obi Mikel.

Is this press conference just a rumour? Surely he'd have to make it soon given the time in Germany?

I think Ronaldo will get pushed upfront with Saha, Park and Richardson on the wings, O'Shea and Giggs in the middle. Im not sure if Nevs fit? if he is same defence as against Fulham, if not Brown at RB, Silvestre CB

I agree with Metallica, and if things aren't working we'll see Ronaldo pulled back and Richardson/Park replaced by Ole.

Still no Hargreves conference...a rumour it would appear :(

Yep fuck em twats, it surely will come back to bite them ijn the end. His performances wont be the same since his heart wont be in it. Why any club would want a player who's mind is set on leaving is beyond me.

Its like having a wife that has her mind on another man and wants to get away from her husband. The husband tells her to shut up and stay with him because she has marriage ties together. The husband threatens the other man to stay away from his wife otherwise he'll call the police. The wife is pleading with her husband that she wants to be with the other man and to file in a divorce. The husband says to forget about any plans of a divorce and being with the other guy or he'll get very angry and that would not be good for her. And thats basically the whole situation with Bayern not allowing Hargreaves to come to where he belongs.

Great convincing win.
8 goals in 2 games and Chelsea lose. I dont think it could get any better.

When carrick came on we looked even better. Great night. before half time came, I was shouting get fletcher and O'shea off. 1st half we looked shaky in the middle of the park, but 2nd, we came out self assured and deserved the 3-0 victory, great finishes from saha and fletcher.

Shame on chelsea lol

Nice analogy. :applause:

Not a bad performace regarding no Rooney, no Scholes, No Neville and Heinze

Good to see Ole score!, the other 2 were great strikes. On another night it could have been 6-0 if hitting the woodwork had gone in. On the other hand Charlton could have had 2 pens :) Well played United though, looking very scary going forward, Evra has came on heaps and bounds. Its an added bonus Chelski lost too!

I still dont rate him, but hes turning in some great performances at the moment. Great goal too.

Ronaldo was excellent today, so mature, he couldve risen to the crowd and fucked about, but he didnt, and he was unlucky with that shot that hit the bar.

Fair play to Charlton, first half they were the better team, but once Fletcher scored (what was he doing scoring and playing well!?), the floodgates opened.

Great to see Ole getting his goal on his proper return. Super sub does it again. Carrick back as well. Great!

and to cap it all off.......VIDUKA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111!!!1!!!!11

I felt we had the most control throughout the game last night. We were hardly threatened and looked confident on winning the game.I was cursing at Fletcher mostly in the first half but he improved his game and capped off with the opening goal in the second.Ronaldo is really on form now and was unlucky to have struck the bar.Man of the Match would have to be Ryan Giggs. On a cold and wet night,he abandoned his usual long sleeves but not his touch and control. He single handedly guided his team through and was unlucky not to have scored too.I'm happy for Saha and especially Solskjaer to get on the score sheet. The surprise inclusion of Carrick boosted the team and we all can see the balance he gives to this superb team.We deservingly won but if this was last season,we would have dropped points.Roll on Saturday..C'mon United!

dude did you see him play for fulham, before he came to united, he was immense... he is a classic goal scorer.. i think he is great

All first half I was just begging for Fletcher to come off, trying to come up with who could replace him. He took his goal well, but other than that...
I think it may be part of just having him and O'Shea on at the same time. O'shea offers no passing lanes whatsoever for Fletcher to find, so when he looks up there's not much near him, hence his long passes forward that tend to fail. As he is so young he can definitely improve, so I say keep him. Plus he's a good squad player, never going to moan about being on the bench.
