Manchester United Thread

What do you guys reckon with the latest comments that Bayern are not willing to let Hargreaves go? Do you think its no hope or do you think United will get a deal in place with Bayern one way or another? I cant believe how difficult it is fopr United to get a player these days, there is always some obstacle.
 
I think United will get him, if we offer enough and Hargreaves goes back to Bayern and expresses his desire to leave I think they will sell him to us.

The sun online say Hargreaves will sign today 13million now we have to wait and see could well be as game was at old trafford lets just see as we are light on numbers and season kick off in 4days
 
Hargreaves was awesome last night. He's not like Keane, he's more upbeat, and almost bouncy on the pitch, his energy levels are scary. His passing and positioning were both awesome, as was his overall contribution. I really hope we get him!

Thats exactly how I feel about the move. Although I did hear he had a good game last night with england and got man of the match.

What do you mean by, "its only football"...football is huge and to most real football fans,it has become a part of their life.It that was your idea of a joke...dude,you need to try harder.
 
Id be more than happy with Hargreaves coming over. The sort of player we've needed for a long time, genuine ball-winner proven at the highest level with club and country.
The only problem being is how we accomodate Scholes, Carrick and Hargreaves in the two central positions.
Still think we need a goal-poacher aswell...Klose should do the job!

Its wierd to see number 16 taken up by somebody new finally,even more awkward to see the number 10 vacant.Rossi has just been 'promoted' to 19,could mean he will feature more with the first team.The other numbers that are still vacant are 12 and 21,26,28 etc.
 
I'd prefer Hargreaves to be honest.
When no-one rated him for the World Cup (I'm guilty too), he didn't get moody, just went out and proved a lot of people wrong. Maybe he could teach Ronaldo to react like that when he gets criticised!

I haven't seen much of Bayern lately, but if that's how he plays for them week in week out I can understand why they'd want to keep him (especially as they've already lost Ballack).

I'm also hoping for a striker to come in as well, though that's prob just a pipedream. That way Rossi could go on loan and get some experience, not that I'd mind if he was a regular in our first team...

I believe we can get both but then again it would flood the midfield.With that in mind I think we will sign Owen Hargreaves.Since talks of the transfer first surfaced,Senna's deal was stalled and this proves that between these two,we have made Hargreaves our priority.I saw the end of the season review for our Treble Winning reserve league team.How awesome was our team??! Some of the goals score were top notch,classic United style.Rossi banged in countless of great goals! I was surprised just like many when we let Markus Neumayr leave,the captain was quality and did chipped in with goals throughout the season.Players to look out for will definitely be Darron Gibson & Frazier Campbell.These two are something special.I hope the Fledglings out on loan will come back and prove their worth with the first team.

Rooney has been passed fit for Sundays game!

The senna deal wont go thru cos of Fergie holding out for Hargreaves, apparently we we're keen for Ruud to join Bayern to pave the way for this move, hopefully the two clubs can sort something out before the end of the week, as soon as a player says he wants out the club have little or no choice really...

Canny wait for kick off!!!
