He got booed every time he touched the ball but he was supreme.Always smiling and seems to let his footballing do the work of shutting his critics.Pretty much like Beckham after WC 98 but I can forsee Ronaldo brushing aside his critics faster as he is a better player than Beckham was back then.Great workout overall.
 
Ronaldo was pure class. Really impressed me. No stepovers, no tricks, not stupidity, head down focused on his game, which was immense. His first touch and movement were actually scary today, fine against oxford, but perhaps we'll be seeing him operating much more centrally this season. He essentially played second striker after half time, and looked very dangerous.

Fletcher and David Jones owned the midfield, I agree fletch does look faster, his acceleration isn't so bad. Plus his touch, movement and passing were really top drawer. Who knows, maybe he'll be pushing carrick for a place all year, can only make the two of the better!

Really encouraging performance. Ole's bagged 5 goals in the preseason..lets hope its a sign of things to come.
 
Ole solskjear is playing like he hasnt been away. That was a great goal he scored. Lets hope him,fletcher and ronaldo can reproduce that type of form in the premeirship and stay injury free.

Why are United always the victims of super high prices? Other rich teams dont even get this sort of treatment.

I dont really give a shit about the price of players anymore. We have to start to accept this and talk more about the player, not the price tag.
And if Adriano's coming this way then I'll welcome him with open arms.
I havent seen enough of him but I kinda get the feeling that he's someone that has the physical attributes but just needs guidence to improve. And IMO, he's the perfect target man for us.
As far as strikers go, Adriano or Torres is as good as it could get for us at the moment.

He is a lot bigger than when he first came over from Lisbon.His new mass gives him better stability and hence a lot more focus and composure.After what happened in the WC,I'm sure he will change his ways and use his tricks when they are needed.Top draw finishes nonetheless.I'm really impressed at his attitude from last nite most importantly.How class was David Jones eyy?! An improved Fletcher,newboy Carrick,the experience of Scholes and Giggs,the drive of Richardson and Park and the impending arrival of Senna...damn,our midfield dosent look too bad at all.

Yeah bringing in Senna is going to be a big boost to our midfield hopefully. Im just worried about carricks injury. I hope he only misses one game. But if we get senna sorted out, then Senna and scholes can still play in the middle of the park together. Senna vows to foul and talk later. Hopefully we can expect some crunching tackles from the lad. So when John cunt mikel plays against us, Senna can put in a two footed tackle on his ass to end his short career roy keane-Haland style.
