It would be wierd but Paddy Vieira will definitely help us.This move would be a kick in the teeth for Keano,Ruud and Arsene Wenger.No problems for the team spirit now that those two is and would be gone.Its no secret that Sir Alex has always been a fan of the frenchman and I woundnt be surprise if we actually get him.I heard we are goin to loan him for a year then flash his arse back to the Serie A.
 
I think Viera would be great. I dont see how that is a kick in the teeth for keane. Keane was 34, vieira is 28 and these two dont hate eachother as people make out.
 
Is Vieira really only 28? I cannot believe he might come to OT. One of the players I've disliked the most through the years, shown massive animosity towards United and dove and cheated his way through many a tie with us...gutted. I'd prefer O'shea.

Guess football is a business and no one can deny he's very good at what he does, but seriously in all of world football we couldn't have gotten someone else? Maybe someone a bit younger?!

He is 30 I believe.Reports are saying that we are closing in with an 8million pounds bid.I believe Paddy wanted out of Arsenal since the end of 04/05 but Arsenal managed to convince him to stay on for another year,win something and then leave.Arsenal of course didnt win the title in 05/06 so Paddy was 'sold' in a haste.The thing about Vieira and Keano is,both of them have great respect for one another its just that,that incident at Highbury a couple of seasons ago,blew everything up.I personally dont mind him joining us.He is proven and ready made for the premiership unlike someone younger that would cost us a bomb and not know his worth.
 
Do you honestly think he will come to us? I personally doubt he will. It would be excellent if he does but I havent heard a single word linking us with any quality players at all this summer.

Duff may be on his way to Spurs. If he goes SAF has finally proven hes crap in transfer market.

i don't think Duff is worth it...plus, it's ok if we miss him..don't really need him....i'd rather have my money on Richardson replacing Giggs....or Park who can play on the left side as well....

we need a DMF and striker now....so, hope that we do get those 2 players....the ones we exactly need...
 
Hio this is my 1st post in here guys, im an avid man utd fan however im just curious to the dude who sed utd´s pre season games being on setanta are you sure about that man as they are all except the final 1 versus celtic on MUTV to which i dont have, however setanta i do have! and the man u celtic game is on channel 5 on the 25th!
 
My other question is that im happy with my stats in my pes 5 game however i was wondering if anyone could tell me how to enter the new utd kits into it and also to make sure all the player appearances are as close as possible to their real life counterparts including boots etc, are there any patches out there that will do this only for utd? without changing my datas!

Good to see Fergie is valuing Ruud similarly to Sheva...take that £8m rumours! I guess we'll have to see how much Real are willing to spend. Rumours today are that Ronaldo (the pudgy one) will be on the flight going the other way. What is up with all these R's?
He's 29 I think, and certainly still has touch and technique. My concern is over his drive, doesn't seem too bothered these days. But then, he pretty much has everything already!

I'm liking all the Torres talk, but do wonder about a possible front line of Rooney, Rossi, Torres, Ronaldo and Richardson/park. I mean, not a whole lot of experience there, despite the obvious talent an potential.

Trez would easily. Zambrotta will go chelsea or Real as we have Heinze n Evra. He would want to be first choice.

Would not mind Ronaldo as SAF would spell it out to him that he would need to get fit.Torres is weird as if Atletico want 40m for him then he aint going anywhere for a good few years.

I think Toni will most likely stay with Fiorentina. In Milan's press statement today Gattuso, Nesta, Pirlo and Kaka are confirmd 100% for next season.
 
Cant see them all staying. Milan would say that. Torres is Ruuds repalcement Toni is too old.

Nedved if give a free, we should get him. Still need a DMF badly.

I also read the Glazers have re financed the loan. Sound business men.

apparently Mijatovic flew in to seal the Ruud deal, at £12M which is a shit price. We really need to go out and get Torres, right now, I watched a few clips of him yesterday, from the WC and 05/06 at Atletico, he's good enough, not gonna get as many goals as Ruud, but we should still get him, especially now Atletico are doubting whether he's going back to the Vicente Calderon

but apart from that mishap, he's a good keeper. He's West Brom's I think, I remember in 2004/2005 against West Brom at OT, I went watching, we drew 1-1 but I think had about 30 chances, most of which were saved by this guy, he had an amazing game.

The last match before Glazer actually bought us I believe, the atmosphere was great, after a lot of fans said they were going to boycott it aswell
