8 years of supporting eh......

It's fans like that which give decent ones a bad name, such a shame. Dont forget to add that Chelsea home kit onto your Christmas list now.:applause:

 8 whole years... a career glory hunter :p

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread-

Thats a logical reason alright. Glad to see you've grown attached to the club, it's players and what it stands for, let alone what being a "supporter" stands for.

I suggest finding a new team who plays how you like and has a strategy you like, I'd advise against Arsenal though a lot of their players are on the older side, you might find they change their tactics in a few years, you might have to find a new strate....errr I mean team to support. :applause:

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread-

So what if we play crap at moment, thats no reason to give up on your team. You should be supporting the team through thick and thin. We cant be top team forever no club can be at the top forever, maybe its decline time for United but ill support them no matter what. What you gonna do when United are on top again with strategy and winninng bk to bk titles again, you gonna start support them again?

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread-

I know BK personally and i think he said those stuff out of frustration. He is a united fan after all.We all are frustrated, its breaking out on others while some are silently strong. Its tough times for us,we've basked in so much glory till we expect glory to come by every season. Not gonna happen anytime soon.Lets get stuck in,United for life.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread-

As SAF pointed out today, we do have more points than 4/6 last years. Its not that we're doing badly, its that Chelsea are doing very, very well. And fair play to em. That's the league anyway, the CL on the other hand...well...

Wigan game should be good, if we can actually put in a good show it'll shut some pople up, as Chelsea have only nicked their two victories. I predict Ruud will be in the goals, and wouldn't be surprised if Scholsey had a good crack too. With Brown back, hopefully defence will be a bit more assured, wonder if maybe Fletcher will get a run and the whole Giggs/Park/Ronaldo both on at the same time thing appears to leave us weak on the counter...which Wigan will definitely be using.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread-

After dropping points in our last game, I think we've lost the right to assume we'll win games like these.
I mean, will we ever see this "backlash"?

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread-

not bad, but clearly ronaldo has been photoshopped in

I've heard a rumour about him and Will Young, maybe it was a gambit to get him to come out.

BTW - nice press conference by Fergie, how to alienate yourself form the media part 1.

:lmao:

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread-

As i was saying in another thread the media target and go frenzy about Manu Utd. So in way Fergie is right but i think he should hanlde it better like mourinho; cool and calm with wit throwing stupid questions back at the journalists.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread-

I think hes just using the "everybodys against us" approach which he used in the past to rile up the team and fans. Worked wonders for us then, dont think its gona have the same effect now though!

Theres difference between just saying 'everybody against us' and walking out of press conference crying media hates united. The latter aint gonna rile team up. It just shows the manager feels he is under pressure and cant cope answering questions and now the players will feel it too.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread-

While I don't think Fergie played this very well, I also hate this Media Guru guy the BBC and Sky are quoting. Saying that Fergie has damaged his media relations beyond repair. I think the media, on a whole in the UK, suck as far as United are concerned. They may cover the odd victory (Cheslea) and include some positive quotes, but that'll only make the 3rd page. Front page is always crisis talk. Or crap conjecture on the end of United.

Imagine if Fergie was paid £50 for every time the Sun printed complete, unfounded lies saying that RVN was leaving. Or the times the Daily Mirror covered some random crap of Rio/Rooney's life that has nothing to do with football, and is taken completely out of context. We'd be able to Ballack, Ronaldinho and probably buy Mourinho just to shut him up!

lol so true.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread-

I don't see how ol Red nose can complain. He's been a complete dick to the press over the years and now he moans cause they've shit on him.

The press did nothing but laud Utd during the 90's and Sky still suck their dicks. Now things have gone bad they're gonna get on his case.

As for the RVN leaving rumours they hardly ever surface especially not as much as the Vieira and Henry rumours. The papers are always going to dig shit up about players such as Rooney and Rio cause that what sells copies and Rooney has hardly been proved innocent.

Fergie has had it lucky over the years and now the boots on the other foot he don't like.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread-

The bottom line is that no one wants to read about the good times, poeple love to think of United, who have dominated for so long, suffering. Its like that guy at work who's just better than everyone else and knows it. When he finally screws up it's headlines around the office. Same deal in football. Its just human nature.

That said, the press can get all uppity about Fergie's comments, but in the end its not his job to give a flying f(*^ about the press, while it is their job to give a f&*( about him. He hasn't managed this well, but in the end everyones human, and we'll only put up with so much crap before we say something. Turns out this was how much he'll put up with.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread-

Teams have their good times and bad times throughout history but the least supporters can do is to stick by their teams when they are going through a rough patch.

The Glazer thing is already done....live with it. You guys still have a good team with some class youngsters....to think its all over is just foolhardy atm.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread-

2-0 so far so good, fletcher is absolutly pants and so is ronaldo, we need a proper right sided midfielder who knows what he is doing. Praise for brown and rio in the centre atleast we look a little bit more sure of ourselfs.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread-

Tomorrows headlines will read 'crisis...what crisis?!'

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread-

Great performance but the amount of near misses were embaressing though.
Especially Rooney's. Easily miss of the season.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread-

A much better performance than we have given lately. Brown and Rio look alot more comfortable playing together which is why Silvestre should for crying out loud be left-back.

Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread-

That was Rio's first for United Revan, and I think his second in the Prem.

Great game yesterday! I'm extremely pleased.

But there is one point of concern, our defense did get off easy more than a couple of time. Thankfully, Wigan's finishing wasn't up to par (especially Camara).
