I'm really happy to know that Sir Alex still trust Saha to bring out his performance for us yet.I saw a rerun of United vs Carlton a couple of seasons back,when we first signed Saha.It was his 9th game,7 goals already under his belt,scored one cracking left foot shot and provided an assist for Gaz for our second goal.That game proved that he linked up very very well with Ruud,superb game by the frenchman.

Thats the Saha that I'm waiting for to return. I remember seeing that game too and since his injuries, I've always thought, if we got that Saha back, him along with Ruud and Rooney would result in us firing goals in left, right and center.

All we could do is trust him to return to that form cuz to be fair, Ruud when through a pretty bad season too and at the time I was thinking he's never gonna score as many as he used to but right now, he's proving me wrong.

And if you think about it, how many strikers are there in the world that are as good as an on form Saha and are also willing to sit on the bench?

Of course I didn't manage to see the match, but listened on Radio, Rossi's strike sounded superb! Nice to see him start his tally, sure it'll be going up a fair bit before long!

Has Saha even started training again? and what ever happened to Ole?

Great stuff, if we win our next game in hand we go second spot 7points behind chelsea and hopefully will motivate the men in red to go on a run and catch chelsea. Any news what the formation we played today? i didnt see game but nice to see us scoring 3goals again! Feel sorry for Arsenal... not lol!

It felt great to see Pique,Bardsley and Rossi get their first starts in the premiership.It was even better to see Rossi netting his first goal in the premiership.Hopefully we will see more of the italian hitman soon.The game as a whole was not particularly our best display by far.Shaky in the first half and wasted chances in the second.Baseline,3 points in the bag and next up Spurs at OT...C'mon United!

Yea,right on,American Italian.News just in that Felix Magathe,Bayern's manager fears that his talismatic captain Micheal Ballack is leaving the club.Its great news for us.I mean,if he wanted to stay on but prefered a better contract,he would have said it.Now it looks like if Bayern dont offer anything good,hes off.Bayern are due to discuss further contract terms with Ballack after their CL game this wednesday.I hope we wont give him some slack now and grab him while hes off the leash.Ballack For United!!

Ballack is adept at many different positions. Basically, you can put him anywhere in midfield and he'll do the job.

Allways a sign of a good player scoring on his debut! be it a deflection he still scored! Theres a fair bit of speculation flying around this morning linking Fergie to the Ireland job seems a strange one but i suppose you never know look at Owen at Newcastle! ;)

Scholes has been a great player at United for about a decade now, but lately he's been crap, I reckon he should go somewhere elsr for a new challenge so we can have Ballack.

get rid of Fletcher 'cause hes just not very good, oh and Saha.....

how much would Ballack cost?

not true, he is born and raised in america until he was 15....
his father and mother are italian, he still can choose the USA as it looks like he might not get an italian call up.....

I think Scholsey will benefit form Ballack joining, similar to giggsy's new lease of life since Park arrived...

But unless he retires, he aint going nowhere....

Fletch isnt going anywhere either. this kid is a talent he just need time...

Saha maybe used in bid to get Fulham to sell Diop but i'd like to see him stay and play a full season with us but Rossi will soon be challenging so he's gonna have to get fit real quick..
