Re: Manchester United Supporters Thread.
I think I agree with you in saying that he thinks he's a bigger/stronger figure at the club than most but he'd never put himself above the club itself. He respects the tradition and the whole "United way" of doing things too much to say he's bigger than the club.
Exactly and he said as much in the programme notes today.
"Manchester United is bigger than me, the players, the directors, the officials and fans. And, particularly at this critical stage of the season, we need to pull in the same direction."
Decent performance today, I was a bit worried we weren't gonna kill the game off and they would get a jammy equaliser, especially when they had that chance that went just past the post at 1-0. Then they got tired and it all started to click and Rooney and Nani were devastating.
Nice to have Rio back, I just hope he doesnt get banned (along with Evra

) for the punch on Fagan, not that the little cunt didn't totally deserve it.
Really happy for Nani, nice to prove his haters wrong, he's a frustrating bastard at times but he's shown he can do it.
Really happy for Wayne too as he's looked like the only one who cares at times and hasn't always got the goals his performances have deserved.
Really happy for me because I had him as captain on fantasy football nabbing me a cool 64 points for this week.
Loving the anti-Glazer chants and the gold and green. Looks like the media have picked up on it too.
Boosh.
