Le Havre submit Pogba case

Le Havre president Jean-Pierre Louvel has contacted Fifa about Manchester United's signing of Paul Pogba.

Chelsea were hit with an 18-month transfer embargo earlier this week following their illegal purchase of Gael Kakuka from Lens in 2007.

Le Havre were quick to praise Fifa for taking such a stance and threatened to report United for the way they approached teenage star Pogba.

Looks like you boys are next...

Yeah I was just kidding mate :)

Apparently another French club are challenging Chelsea now too. :LOL: The irony is that Arnesen who's job it was to scout Kakuta and co was tapped up from Tottenham himself and Chelsea had to compensate them £5m!

Great video of Yorke and Cole, they really were a class partnership. Sometimes they get forgotten about when people talk about the treble season as it was Ole and Sheringham who scored in the CL final but they scored about 50 between them that year. Don't agree with some stuff in his personal life but as a player Yorke was top class.

:LOL: I'll be suprised if anything comes of it, I think Chelsea's appeal will get them down to 1 transfer window in Jan anyway and the same would happen to us.

Yorke was quality but didn't have the drive to keep going, The way he demolished Arsenal was probably his United highlight. The goal against Barcelona between Cole/Yorke is probably one of the clubs best goals ever.

His 1998/99 season was unbelievably prolific, scoring 30 goals and setting up 23 other.

And most of all, he played the game with a smile on his face.

Yeah, they became good friends off the pitch as well and played at Blackburn and Sunderland together, after leaving us.

They definitely brought out the best of each other.

I think the Progba case will come down to whether or not he was 'coerced' into abandoning his contract. From what I understand he didn't break any contract? He was just a youth player (therefore no contract) who chose to come to United (for $$$ i'm sure)

I had the impression you can sign at 17 only because Wilshire did . It get complicated when parents get involve especially when parents represent their kids, I can`t even get my son to support a proper club :LOL:

They just clicked well and we had two other first class forwards in Sheringham and Solskjaer too back then.These four were well rotated but Yorke and Cole were our two main strikers...It was fantastic while it lasted but the chain was broken when Sir Alex decided to splash the cash on a certain dutch striker.

And I used to love watching that certain dutch striker too :LOL:. Awesome in his day

Nice of you to say Kev, most fans are too proud.

On a completely different note, apparently we have threatened to sue Le Harve unless they STFU about the transfer of Monsieur Pogba. We have categorically denied offering money to parents of young players, something I'm not entirely sure is true.

I am not to sure of how to act towards these allegations thrown at us ever since Chelski's dirty ways are exposed.

I am sure every big club has somehow 'stolen' young starlets from smaller clubs before but they were doing this discreetly or in a legal but 'ungentlemanly' way.

Our lawyers seems confident enough to have given their shout back at Le Havre and FIFA.Sounds like we have our angles covered well too.Still skeptical but hopeful nonetheless.

I've never seen anyone personify the term "goal machine" as well as Ruud. He'll continue scoring till he's 40.

During season 01/02 we had two 'goal machines' pairing playing together Rune...Ole and Ruud....Cole and Yorke.

Imagine if those four were fit and in their prime...it would be goals galore for us.

Come to think of it..Solskjaer has played with so many of our legendary forwards without affecting his role in the team...Ole has played with Cantona,Cole,Yorke,Sheringham,Ruud,Rooney and Ronaldo! He is an icon.

Hopefully Fergie will actually play a RB there. Brown, Neville, De Laet are fit, and Fabio can play there.

Fletcher cannot. But Fergie still likes putting him there.

Brown for sure. He was an absolute beast in 07/08, if he can find form again and stay injury free he's first choice by a mile and he can get his place back in the England team from Johnson.

I think Brown will play CB. Evans needs surgery, Brown can cover know whilst Rio's out.

Yeah I guess he'll have to for now while we have Defensive Injury Crisis mark 2 (or DIC2 for short) but long term I think he's much better at RB.
