Bloodly hell this transfer is taking its time isnt it!

Seems as we've got some good news, Ronaldo, Hargo, Park and Carrick all back in training, Apart from Ron all should be looking to be ready for the Liverpool trip and theres even a outside Chance Ronaldo could make the bench v Chelsea :))

Even more news is that Manucho has finally been granted a work permit! :DD

Ronaldo is certainly out for this weekend right? But maybe ok for next one?
I rly want to see him this season, him and the reaction of the ManU fans towards him.

He'll be back in a month. I expect him to score a few goals and the fans to forget about the Madrid saga, not that I will myself personally.

This is disappointing.Looks like there is no progress with Berbatov.Rumours saying today that we have bid for Karim Benzema plus Louis Saha...make that one last shot...Otherwise we have to make do with what we have.

That would be awesome, Berb is a amazing player but Benzema has the potential to be as good as Ronaldo was in his Barca days.

Phrase it was on SSN that Manucho got the permit.

Ronaldo wont be back until a month. If theres one thing that I miss is his nack for scoring :((
 
i would like to see the way ronaldo plays this season after injury.... hmm... berba left out of spurs squad will you guys have him in next weeks match?? I don't think benzema will come over to EPL he himself stated that. Would like to see Manucho play....

We lacked a real winger, not a striker. No Nani, Giggs, Ronaldo, Park, and all of our width had to come from Evra and Brown.
So many times we had someone like Rooney on the wing holding up the ball and when he'd cut back, the ball would roll to Tevez and I'm wondering "who the hell is in the box?". If we had atleast one proper winger, we would have had either Rooney or Tevez constantly giving the keeper and the centre backs a hard time.
Still pleased with how well we controlled the game though. We didnt attack as much as we normally do but we stopped them attacking too. And with so many players out, I'd gladly take a win like today every week until we've got a fully fit squad.
 
Quality win! Remember were missing key players still and we need to grind out the results until there back like we did last season. Anderson was quality for his first game back and he only got here last night! Hargo, Park, Carrick, Giggs, Nani, and cough*Berbatov*cough will all be ready for the Scouse :))

EDIT: Just wondering how long it will be till we start hearing "Your a one man team, Without Fletcher you cant score" :LOL:

good win last night, even tho missing some serious quality from squad...

hopefully for next league game, we will have back nani, giggs, carrick and hargreaves...

plus rooney and anderson will be fitter, sharper!

and fingers crossed berba in the number 9 shirt!
 
It didnt seem like you guys missed some key players last night. You guys were really good. The goal margin doesnt matter. I was seriously expecting a draw, but in the 1st half itself, i thought the score would be 2-0.
 
Last night,I thought we didnt looked as nervy as before when facing Pompey.Should have been 2 nil as Rooney's goal was perfectly legitimate.

Only John O'Shea looked out of place in last night's lineup,he was also the slackest.Pompey's backline was really aggressive so,I took my hats off for Rooney and Tevez for pigging through them.Scholes should have played more upfield but I guess he wasnt too sure of O'Shea.

Pleased with the tie,could have been a back-burner if we were to play them away,at the end of the season.
 
Important win for the boys. Some good football too, but lacking in end product. Still, passing was awesome and defence looked alright. Not too sure about Van der Sar so far this year, a bit of flapping about. IMO time for Foster to get blooded...he's defo first eleven quality if he can stay fit.

Berba by Friday? Pllllleeease let's get this over with.
 
I saw on Sky Sports News that Hargreaves and Neville will hopefully start

What does everyone think to Possebon ? Definatly one for the future but from what Ive seen he looks ok he looks a decent passer and dont give in
 
I think he's a decent passer, composed on the ball and also can strike it well. Personally think he'll always remain back up for us but could make it at a midtable club.

Finally Spurs have a Striker! "The Berb" cant be far off now :DD
