Number one priority is keeping Ronaldo, second is signing Tevez permanently.
Anything after that is a bonus IMO.

Maybe. I reckon Foster will be phased in next year though. Edwin still has something to offer, though he does drop form around Xmas time (he has for the last couple of years anyway).
Saying that I wouldn't mind seeing Joe Hart join us. Also with Fulham signing Schwarzer, getting Niemi as backup might not be a bad idea.

As long as we get rid of Kuszczak I'll be happy!

i would expect manchester united to carry on banging them in from all over the park like they did in the van nis era the cantona era the andy cole era the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer need i go on.....these people are bloody idiots.

Cantona was unique, so was Zidane. It'll be the same with Scholes.

Players like that are hard to come by.

answer is it dont matter who you replace him with as long as he is a proven goal scorer that will do the quality comes from within.

Seems like SAF is heading to the Euro's to speak to him so there must be concern if they feel the need to do that. I think if he does go to Real it may be a problem at that time in the market to find a replacement. possible replacements could be Robinho or Quaresma, or we could go down another route and go for Beckham like Bentley.

We are gonna keep Ronaldo for at least another season.

Sir Alex has given hints that he will build a team around Wayne Rooney to get the best out of him for years to come.We will get a centre forward to compliment Rooney's play.

Dont think we have ever retired a number at United and Ole's number 20 is still up for grabs.Like I said before,20 would be perfect for Huntelaar or Trezeguet.

Dani Alves is still a possibility till he signs for another club.Someone mentions about sizing for fullbacks...Fullbacks are supposed to be nippy and agile players.Dani Alves has a perfect built for a fullback and the only reason you lot think he is too attacking minded is that,at Sevilla...he is one of their main attacking threats,he is their vice captain and takes most freekicks,mostly involved in all the attacks down the right side.At United,there is no need for him to do that,hence will make him more of a team player.

I agree that Foster will be phased in,next season.

Now that Pique has gone,would we sell Silvestre? There is no news yet of the returning Johnny Evans.

He is already probably the most talented player we've ever had at the club, and also probably the most successful season a player has ever had at the club, 41 goals, PL, CL, PL top scorer, CL top Scorer, PFA awards(the mains ones) European player of the year,(probably) World player of the year(probably) and even a Euro to look forward to. Ronaldo will probably be regarded as a club legend and one of the best to ever play for us but i think thats the limit since we all know he will depart us for Spain at some point.

To be honest i dont blame him if he does, even as a United fan if put in his shoes i would eventually probably look to move on. he's 23 right know if he stays here till say 27 or 28 then il understand him wanting to move, he isn't a United fan, he's just a player that with time has got closer to the club, he's already won everything he can win here at just 23 he's acheived everything with us so he might want a change, i just hope he gives us a few more years and then decides its time to move on, either way he'll always be remembered as a great at the club.

WRONG! :DD Boruc is much better than those two atm. ;)) I know we're Man Utd supporters and we have THE BESTEST PLAYERS but I don't agree with that.

Apparently Bordeaux (managed by Laurent Blanc) want him, but Silvestre has said that he would only consider a move if they match his wages as he won't accept a pay decrease.
There's also talk of Keano wanting Evans on loan for another season.
Who would that leave as cover for the usual 4?
Brown, O'Shea, Cathcart & Simpson?

Like everyone else, I hope Ronaldo never leaves. But if he does, I'd happily shake his hand at the airport and thank him for what he's done.
Should he go, I'd guess it'll be the same time Fergie retires, so at least 3 more years.

Ronaldo won't stay forever, that's a pipe dream. The lad will finish his career in sunnier climates, sad but true. He's already won the lot at United and will look at doing that at a Real Madrid or AC Milan one day, I am certain of it. I would of took winning the European Cup and him leaving rather than keeping him and not winning it though.

I am still on a high and it's been over a week since the win. Can't believe the season we've had. The most important person staying at United is FERGUSON - he is our 12th man on the pitch.

Exactly, SAF is the man and i think it will be a tough few years when, SAF,Ronaldo,Giggs,Scholes and Neville all leave while the Foreign ruling comes into play. but right now were on top of the footballing world :)

Hopefully by the time that new ruling kicks in,we would have a new batch of fledlings,ready made for the big stage.Unlikely but still a possibility.

Either that or we need to poach young kids all over Britain and nurture them.Any news on Aaron Ramsey?

I'd love Ronaldo to stay, but like someone else mentioned i see him leaving at some point. Tbh i think Ronaldo atm is on a crossroad; he either stays and becomes a legend, or leaves looking for another challenge elsewhere and we always have fond memories of him.

Also i don't fear the worse for Man Utd incase Ronaldo leaves, Alex is the man and he was always there to eye, foster and bring the best out of talented players.

About Kusczak being better than Boruc, No Way. Look up Boruc on youtube, his attitude and Gk skills surely reminds you of someone..

Ronaldo should wait at least another season. The way things are going, English clubs could dominate Europe again so his best chance of more CL medals could be here.
We're going to get this shit every year until it actually happens so I'm not worrying about it.
