Rooney is poor and tevez deserve to play in the final more than him any he will choke like he choke when he play important game like at the world cup the same thing will happen to him in the CL final

Rooney won't choke if you had been watching Utd you do know Fergie plays Ronaldo Tevez and Rooney in a 3 pronged attack tbh
 
Rooney is better than Tevez anyday. I always fear Rooney more than Tevez. Tevez, its just his first season and all he has done in United is saving United's ass many times the same way Bendtner does sometimes for Arsenal. He is way better than Bendtner though!! so, Rooney should play the Finals!!
 
If there's fear of anyone choking for us in the final its Ronaldo, Rooney has proved before he can perform in the big games.
 
Yeah, Ronaldo has to perform well in this game. Cant expect much from Tevez, its just first season. Only players who i think will perform are
Rooney, Giggs, Scholes, Van der Sar, Vidic, Ferdinand, Evra and maybe Ronaldo.
 
Why do you think Tevez won't perform? he was absolutely amazing against Barca at home, couldnt have done more. expect similar stuff from Carlos.
 
Yeah you're right YoungGun. Tevez's work off the ball has been superb and he's got vital goals all season, just like he did for West Ham last season. He's very much a big game player.

Giggs has been poor all season. I'm pretty sure he's only getting games so he can get Bobby Charlton's record. I don't see the sense in starting him against Chelsea he's offered nothing lately.

I haven't decided where I'll watch the game yet.

Might have a few mates round mine, or maybe go into Manchester to wathc it.

Does anyone know if there's tickets in the Wigan end left? I might try go down there.
 
I remember going to Wigan to watch Stockport and we outnumbered their fans 2 to 1 (there was only about 1000 of them).
 
Hahaha! Yeah they rarely fill up that's what gave me the idea.. but their website says SOLD OUT so I guess due to the magnitude of the game, they've got their first full house of the season.

that will probably be the team, as Jumbo said not convinced by Giggs lately he's had a shocking end to the season. Hope he plays well tomorrow as i gaurantee Wigan will make us run all game so Park, Hargo and Tevez will be needed to be on their bikes.
 
No Carrick? He's been the most in form of the squad lately in my opinion. It wouldn't surprise me if he played instead of Giggs in that line up with Hargreaves on the right, or a 5 man midfield with Cristiano dropping back.

Can't wait now I'm excited.
 
Yeah Possibly Hargo on the right and Carrick with Scholes no way we'll go with a 5 thats just to cautious IMO we need to hit them early like the West Ham game, the longer the game goes without us scoring the less likely it will be for us to break them down. Dunno why your so excited I'm not looking forward to it simply cause I'm actually not confident about the game:(.

Well i'm not saying he shouldnt play at all. He can play but Rooney and Cronaldo should start. Its a Big Match!! Cant Risk trying players when theres Drogba and Joe Cole who might score anytime. It would be better to put someone who would surely score goals and score Really Fast like Rooney and Cronaldo so that later on just Park the Bus. Maybe later on Rooney could be Substituted for Tevez.

Tevez has scored very important goals in the CL, and also played bloody amazing, esp. agianst Barca. It would be mad not to start him.
 
I'm a bit worried too. I remember the game at OT. They kept us out for over an hour and we never looked like scoring. The captain will be very important today to make sure we keep banging the door right to the end.
 
Looks like most of us has joined my sentiments regarding our finale.C'mon people...we need to rally together.With only this game holding out our 10th Premiership title and our 17th all time english title...NOBODY WANTS TO TRIP AT THE FINAL HURDLE...What I know is that Manchester United are built for this kind of games and we have what it takes to be truimphant.

Today's the day.... I wanna be in a good damn mood in the last hour of work so time flies and I hear Utd have won the league!
 
Wonder if you guys think the same, ive been watching some games of ManU (mostly CL) and ive seen that Ronaldo is not as decisive as in EPL games, he seems shy against big teams, like the Barcelona games he didn't appear or wasn't "that ronaldo" we r used to watch. The CL final last year was the same, Kaká completely obliterated ManU but he killed Ronaldo as well, amusing performance that took his chance on the Best Player award.
So the center question is, do you think Ronaldo will play like he does in all CL games or last Final or like in the EPL games?
 
Good chance Ronaldo will bottle it. Would be time for Tevez, or Rooney, or Scholes to step up. Ballack will step up for Chelsea. Big game player if there was ever one.
 
If Ronaldo plays like he did against Barca 2nd Leg and draws in the Chel$ki players and fouls, we should be fine ;)
 
Remember though Man Utd are a one man team, without Ronaldo they are nothing, but then he never turns up in big games!!!!

I'm not even gonna explain the pathetically sad dream I had last night about missing the game today. When I told my girlfriend about it this morning she looked at me like I needed help because I told her it was a nightmare.

2 hours to go. Any team news at all?
 
Another hour and a half till kick off. slightly got more confident today that we can do it, been telling myself when it counts we perform and i think that will be the case today:).

CMON UNITED BRING US OUR 10TH AND 17TH OVERALL!
