Manchester United Thread

I've noticed that there are a few worried opposing supporters around here because United are 5 points clear with only 4 matches to go. You know things are getting desperate when the Rooney pictures start coming out - reminds me of a few years ago with the "horse face" routine. It must be hard when you've spent a fortune on players YET AGAIN in the summer but are not even guaranteed a Champions League place at this time of the season. Also it must be hard to see your team 5 points clear at one point only to fall apart after getting trounced 4-0 at Old Trafford and then going on to see your captain cry like a baby. Get the bitter lemons out for them lads! :lol: ;)

At the end of the day, we're the best team in England and probably Europe right now. We haven't beat Liverpool TWICE, Arsenal TWICE AND Chelsea in this season due to LUCK. We don't score three goals yet concede NONE against a very good Roma team due to LUCK. We don't just win matches either - we play entertaining football at the same time, something Chelsea can't admit to.

It's been a fucking great season and we haven't even won a trophy yet - our new signings have been brilliant, we're looking good in Europe again, Sir Alex is proving why he's the best manager around YET again and that boy Ronaldo is getting better every year.

Raise your glass lads - we've got some team!

My sentiments exactly.Some people are desperate enough to post pics to get some laughs! I couldnt understand that to be honest.I'd make fun of my team if they are not playing well,not the other way round!

And talking about arrogance? Some even have the cheek(arrogance) to come in here and slant our team,when we win! How is it like ,down there fellas?

I don't know about you lads but Liverpool fans take the mick out of their own players win or lose.

Biscan was shit but we love him, why because he played for Liverpool and he loved the club. Erik Meijer was one of the worst players to play for Liverpool, we rip him till this day but love him becasue he was literally swinging from the lamposts in Dortmund watching us lift the UEFA Cup.

We laugh at Torres's haircuts. At the same time we praise him for scoring 30 goals and proving the doubters wrong. Lets just say they are a little girly to say the least. We reckon he's borrowed some ginger dye of Riise. Riise has actually got more ginger over the last month, but Torres is getting ginger too.

Thank Fuck I support Liverpool and not United, who as a club seem devoid of humour

Yep been a great season so far. we are the top team in England and could be the best in Europe come the end of the season. its great times for United fans, i kinda find it funny when you Liverpool lot come in here and say we have no soul,passion etc etc, yet for 90% of this season your whole thread has been you lot bashing your club in everyway? yet your club may have problems so you moan but dear lord, there's one of you lot who has Rafa with an X over his face? what type of loyalty is that? Just cause your club has issue's and you moan doesn't mean we should cause are club is right now close to Perfect :) i wouldn't change anything about my club.

Er No-one has been bashing our club. It is being ruined by people within the club, that we want out. They are seperate from the Club.

You honestly think people wouldn't have a go at Ferguson if he wasn't producing? I seem to remember him getting a lot of sticks and calls to retire a few years ago. If anyone has a go at Rafa it has always been about his abillity to manage and not him as a person.

United to me are the equivelent of the Harlem Globe Trotters. That doesn't mean you shouldn't be appluaded for what it happening on the pitch. The Richest club in the world should at the very least be competing for two trophies? Until you win both you should get off your high horse.

We moan because they have come in promosing to make us a financial force, and quite frankly we know find out that they just can't do that.

Man United fans just cannot seem to comprehend how they have such an unfair advantage over everyone else.

Our unfair advantage was earned by being a very good 'business' on and off the pitch.
You lot (Liverpool fans)were the first to laugh when the Glazers took over saying we were finished. We still have this massive debt to pay off but it doesn't affect the team and manager.
 
Exactly. You can't call it unfair if its YOU that arent doing things right, not us getting something everyone else isnt. I mean, Chelsea spend more than us but they arent in the same position we are.

Mate, like the others have said: We have had good business brains running the club whilst you have muppets like Rick Parry at the helm who has gone on about "Liverpool's fantastic new stadium" for 3 years now. Where is it then Mr.Parry? As for the "unfair advantage" - complete bollocks. Liverpool's owners are not exactly shy when it comes to shelling out the cash. Rafa asked for Torres, he got him. Rafa asked for Babel, he got him. It's not everyone else's fault he brought in average players too. What about Chelsea? They can have ANY player they ask for. Did you hear us moaning about it? No. We bought ONE player last season (Carrick, who didn't exactly light up Old Trafford) yet still pushed on and WON the title.

You can't say it's "not fair" - businesss is NEVER fair, it's about profit margins and success. Liverpool FC, like United, Chelsea and Arsenal is a brand now. You have to promote your brand efficiently for the best outcome, Parry hasn't done this, our men have.

Again, it all sounds like a case of sour grapes - if Liverpool were playing the same football as United this season, defending like United and all-round killing teams like United have done then I would take my hat off and say "Fuck me, you're a really good team this season" and not come out with the retarded, bitter shite that I have read from some Liverpool supporters on here this year.

Ffs if this if that , everton are breathing down liverpools necks and we aint got two pennys to rub together , it aint all about the money , how about blood sweat and the pride in the shirt/history.

put in a nutshell liverpools season has been a complete disaster based on the millions they have spent and no silver ware to show for it, i say that with confidence because no-one is gonna touch Manchester United! 32 years an avid football fan and ive never seen class like this before....ever!

its a f**kin joy to watch...
