Manchester United Thread

Just a quick shout out to our friend Antred, dont ever have the bollocks to come in this thread and spout off about dodgy refereeing decisions going United's way ever again. The game at Goodison today was a fucking disgrace. Stevie " i never dive " Gerrard went down like a sack of spuds and then talked the referee into sending Hibbet off, then Kuyt gets away with a better karate kick than King Eric's.And what about Carragher's two wrestling moves on Lescott in the penalty area? Absolute shocker , might as well have had Max Benitez refereeing this one.

:applause:

Back to United, times are good for the Red Devils at the moment. To beat a very good Aston Villa team 4-1 away speaks for itself. We TOTALLY dominated the game WITHOUT Ronaldo, Carrick, Neville, Vidic and Hargreaves. Nani is fitting in nicely, Rooney is on fucking fire and his link-up play with Tevez is sublime. We showed so much character and composure after going 1-0 down. How many wins in a row is that now? Alan Hansen said on MOTD after the Man City defeat "You watch United go and win six games in a row now." The man was spot-on!

Roll on Kyiv! :)

I'm surprised no-one has said anything about Anderson's performance. He seems to be getting better and better every game he's playing in. :)

Anderson is gonna take a while to settle in. He made a few misplaced passes but you can't question his work ethic. I felt a bit sorry for him as at times he was playing in the holding role - he would be far more exciting playing more forward with Carrick or Hargreaves in more defensive roles.

I watched the highlights and they didnt even show him:shock: i would have loved to have watched the full game highlights on Sky Sports but since Setanda know show it Sky didnt have the rights and totally ignored the fact United even played:roll:

awww you feel the way i do when i watch your lot sometimes. fair game its not nice is it? So you dont think gerrards was a pen then? Sums you up that does. Gerrard maoning to the ref? Your lot invented it!!! Lets surround and badger the ref!

Comparing Kuyts challenge to Cantonas ASSAULT on a fan is like comparing Windows Vista to the zx spectrum.

Lescott fair dos i was surprised as anyone it wasnt given but what do you want me to do? You mask 10 years or so of favourable decisions with a few scattered favourable ones to Liverpool and think its justified. Pretty laughable really.

And i can come on here if i like and say what i like :)

Or Hamann almost as good as Ferdinand..;)

The German Manchester City midfielder crashed his £70,000 Porsche into a fence in Styal.

The witness continued and saw a car embedded in a fence. Hehe

The 34-year-old, of Alderley Edge, was convicted of failing to stop after an accident and also convicted of driving without due care and attention, failing to stop after an accident and failing to report an accident - charges he had denied.

The court heard that a police officer could smell alcohol on the player's breath.

Nicola Roberts, prosecuting, said a witness saw a man dressed in a dinner suit walking on the cycle way towards Wilmslow, waving his arms about and talking to himself. :lmao:

two officers saw Hamann running from the scene. They asked him if he was the owner of the car and he answered 'No, I couldn't drive like this'. "He smelt of intoxicants and said he had been to the Honey Bee [a nearby pub]."

The player's barrister, Tom Gilbart said quote

"This isn't a drink driving case".

No of course it wasn't honest guvnor :lmao:

He might be able to pass a ball a bit, but I wouldn't pass him the keys to my car Haha, especially if he mentioned the honey bee or he had a frigin dinner suit on Hahahaahahahah

congrats at times your lads were awesome to watch scoring goals for fun....arsenal lookin good already, still they aint got the class of man utd, man u to take the title with ease this year only arsenal to worry about.

We looked great going forward and another 4 goals scored. What matters to me was how sloppy we were in conceding those 2 goals. No one was there to challenge Rincon's header for the first and credits to Van Der Sar for the second. We could have more goals too and credits to Rooney,Tevez,Giggs and Ronaldo for a wonderful performance.Other than those 4,the rest had a good game in second gear.Maybe because of the heavy pitch, players like Anderson,Rooney,Fletcher and Tevez really looked tired at the end.Next up,Boro at OT.C'mon United.

your laughable, it shows how blind your bitterness is..

Great result last night, Rooney and Tevez get better and better together each time they play

Despite scoring 4 goals, I thought we were worringyl wasteful in front of goal. Tevez had a full 2 seconds to compose himself from just behind th spot and still hit the keeper. Rooney couldn't seem to get the ball out of his feet...dunno great performance but I still came away worried that we won't have nearly as many chances against worse oppositn, but we need to still capitalise.

well you know how it feels now , after every decision your in this thread letting your bitterness get the better of you. i knew you'd bite. oh and good result tonight btw.

4 games 16 goal just brilliant, Rooney and Tevez partnership is on fire literally, while Nani put the ball on fire with his strike;), also all this happening and i dont think Ronaldo is playing at his best:lmao: bring on Arsenal:8):

Ronaldo has been great. All he was missing yesterday was a goal.

Giggs in for Nani next week. Anderson should play as should Hargreaves.

Bring on Arsenal.

I think Ronaldo is looking a bit dejected and pissed off because Rooney and Tevez are stealing the headlines. He wasn't happy when he broke all the way with Rooney and Tevez took a shot instead.

Still, we're playing brilliantly. Anderson is impressing me more and more, his passing is sublime, and he's like a Yorkshire Terrier when trying to get the ball, always fighting for it.

Shame we conceded though...

Rooney and Tevez partnership is on fire literally

:lol:Sorry this made me laugh, 'LITERALLY' on fire?

Another good performance from United, Anderson is getting better with every game and looks really good. I noticed he seems to panic a bit when he's near the opposition area but I guess that'll change as he gets older. Rooney's in great form at the minute, I just don't get why he gets written off so often. Winds me up.

I guess most players take time to get back to their best after a break from suspensions and injuries so its normal for people to write off Rooney.
But the thing about Rooney is that he knows when things arent going his way and will try to help the team out in different areas. While some strikers get frustrated desperately trying to get their first goal, Rooney will accept that he's not as sharp as he was and will look for the assist and help with the defending to make up for it.
I think this is something that makes Rooney such a smart player that most people dont give enough credit for.

Yeah that's definitely one of his strongest points.
