Oh rubbish. Rooney's aggressive AND reckless. He never considers whether he might injure the other guy, and lets also not forget he went after Carvalho's balls in the World Cup. If you're reckless whether you might injure a guy, that's the same as intending to injure a guy.
Like if I see in a tackle I can get the ball but run my studs over your knees, I wouldn't do it, even if I can get the ball first. Rooney would, and that's dirty. Doesn't matter your intent, if you can see you'd injure a guy and still do it, you're playing a dirty game.

On the Shield, you lot deserved it, there was good play all around. Chelsea's goal came from a single moment of isolated brilliance by Malouda. Wasn't deserved for all the pussy-footing they were doing all game. If you lot could let go of this pipedream that Rio Ferdinand is a premiership defender, you could really put out a fearsome defensive unit.
