How about if he could control a fucking football! Jesus have you not watched him a lot of the time? He is supposed to be a top notch footballer playing for Manchester United. I have seen players playing for a local Pub Team control the ball better than he does!

wow thats harsh, if we hadnt had saha last season (well the 1st half) we wouldnt have won the league...

I reckon if saha plays a full season he'll be prem top scorer....

I of course hope your right to have faith in him but ive seen too many signs that he has got no idea on how we play as an attacking force. As I said before with the pace in our side and flowing attacks that we play the last thing you need is a DONK like Saha to lose the ball.... end of that attack and the momentum that was built.

Put it this way.Obviously Sir Alex sees something in Saha and that is why he is willing to bank on him.Saha is recovering from the keep op done by that famous US doctor.So given the results of other players whom had gone thru the same procedure,that crocked knee is supposed to be healing for the best.Sir Alex didnt gave him the number 9 for nothing and I bet he still has faith in Saha...for another season at least.

I'll admit I haven't seen that much of him, I just don't remember him being brilliantly quick like the players you've mentioned. If he is, then I'd gladly love to be proved wrong and watch him tear up the Prem.

Nah selling RVN wasnt a mistake. During his last season for us he looked totally uninterested and just basically walked around the pitch. Notice the difference since he has gone to Real and the amount of goals he has scored and the work rate of him.

After playing the football you did this season and the amount of goals spread about throught your team - I don't think seling Ruud was a bad move at all. I think that it was a very good move and your team may not have performed aswell with him in it.

I'm hoping the same happens to us now that Henry has gone. It's a big hope. But I reckon its possible.

I definately don't think Selling Ruud was a mistake.

HUH, did anyone see this, i dont recall this at all....
i honestly think ruud actually did have a go at ronaldo.. and sir alex basically had to choose between the two...

Van Nistelrooy scored over 20 goals in his last season at United. You can't say he was uninterested after that, surely? And making out that his goal scoring form at Real was some kind of revelation is strange, because he's always been that consistent in putting the ball in the net. Van Nistelrooy - like others before him - was forced out of United because of off the field issues at the club, not as the result of any drop in form.

Him leaving has to be classed as a mistake. Football-wise, you could never call it a good move. Whether United had a great season in his absence is inconsequential, he would only of benefited the team.

i agree with most of your post, but it didnt seem to be a negative to the product on the field, so IMO it was not a mistake, because United won the title... we lost to milan because of shitty play in the back, not shitty play upfront...
so even though ruud was great, the other players picked up the slack just fine

I think Man U have benefitted with him out of the team. I think Man U are more of a team without him. No Doubting he was prolific and a great finisher. the goals he would have scored is going through the whole team which is much more beneficial for the club.

So I don't think you can call it a mistake - especially with Man U winning the league as soon as they get rid of him!

To say something was a mistake I think you need to regret selling him. I don't see why any Man U fan would regret selling him? Man U havent suffered without him.

I'm getting seriously bored without the Prem to watch, I'm resorting to watching videos of the fans singing on youtube, and then constantly watching Roma highlights....oh what a night

does liverpool really need another striker?? but then, him not coming to Man Utd might be a good sign...as what PLF and others have said b4

i agree with you too, but a regret and a mistake are necessarily the same thing. I like ruud, i love screaming ruuuuuuuud when he scores, but if we win without him, then its not such a big deal. Now if united hadnt won anything this year... then i reckon everyon wold be clammering what a mistake it was to let him go.. thing is he never did this in england

No doubting the man as a footballer you have to respect him for that.

But I hated the bastard - But thats expected as I am an Arsenal fan. He was a sly git and although there is a respect for his footballing ability I do not respect him as a person.

I know you don't really care - but I haven't had a go at Ruud for a while and I miss it :-)

Mistake and regret aren't the same thing but I was trying to say that there is no grounds for saying that selling Ruud was a mistake. As for something to be classed as a mistake I think you have to regret doing that thing and also it needs to have a negative effect. Neither of these happened to Man U so I don't think it was a mistake.

Anyway I don't really care anyway - I just hope the Gooners play half aswell as Man U did last season with there main goalscorer being sold.

wow...really got some great things with Anderson today...played brilliantly, had great crosses, great moves...his shots could improve...but yeah, VERY excited about him in a Man Utd jersey!!!
