If Gerrard, I can guarantee you he will never go to scum utd. The guy loves the kop - for him, going to Old Trafford will be like spray painting his shirt blue and hopping over the fence to play for everton.

Stop dreaming guys ;)

I also doubt he'd ever go to us, but you just have to remember Figo, Campbell, theres others too. Like I said, I can't see us getting him, but I don't think it's as black and white as everyone thinks.

True say, but with Figo - I always had this feeling he was a money grabber and he wanted success and didn't feel he'll get it from Barca. Campbell, I have to admit, I was very shocked at.

The thing is, Gerrard is no doubt out best player. He knows it and so do we, us 'Pool supporters. Selling him to, out of all places, Man Utd will be considered as a crime just not worth committing by the Board. If they do sell him, and I'm getting increasingly worried that they will as theres big bucks flying around, it'll ultimately go down to him. And I've a feeling he will not want to help Man U succeed but instead go down south.

But yeah, then again, you can never tell with footy

Rocky, I reckon what your talking about means more to the fans than it does to the players.

I still dont think it would happen but he's got big problems in liverpool and with lfc being such a waste of time, why not...

amazing news... but i bet its all rumours... can u imagine Stevie G in man utd's red? oh...... i'm already having wet dreams....
mmmmmmmmmmmm...........

Houiller said yesterday that 'You would have to cut off both my arms before I let go of Steven Gerrard because I would have them both wrapped around him.'

Ruud in £28m tangle
Ruud van Nistelrooy is being dragged into a David Beckham-style transfer tangle. Manchester United’s board is reluctantly ready to accept an offer of around £28million for the striker. But, as with Beckham, United are keen to sell him to Barcelona rather than Real Madrid, who they see as major European rivals. Real have been in touch with the striker’s agent Roger Linse throughout the season. But United are also understood to have had contact with Barcelona about the possibility of letting the Dutchman go to the Nou Camp.

Van Going
Ruud van Nistelrooy is set for a £30m switch to Real Madrid after a secret meeting between the Manchester United striker's agent and the Spanish giants. If United decide to do a deal, manager Sir Alex Ferguson may demand Ronaldo in part exchange.

Oh my,I remember seeing this type of news before, regarding Becks. Can lightning strike the same place twice? I dont mind Ronaldo joining United though.

Pardon me,but I personally think that Pool have been underachieving all this while, never won the Premier League for all their past glories, always had the hype before the season starts only to fumble.I hope they can do "a Chelksi" next season and challenge us,Arsenal,Chelski and Newcastle for the title.

Well lets face it , he's never gonna need both arms to lift up the title, let him win something meaningful Gerrard and join a real BIG team. :D

I seriously hope the United board don't shoot themselves (and the fans) in the foot by going through with this. :l

I reckon Van Nistelrooy will go - why? cos I've got the feeling Ferguson has got a useful replacement in Saha. Nistelrooy and Saha are just too similar and even though I reckon RVN is more clinical finisher, Saha is someone who'll be able to grind out the goals for himself.

RVN hasn't been the same player ever since Beckham had left. Had Beckham not left, I don't think he'll ever consider leaving Man U.

And besides, I reckon Real Madrid are risking shooting their feet by even considering swapping RVN for Ronaldo

u need someone on the right side though no doubt!
just said on the news that david gill has wrote letters to barca and real saying that ruud is not for sale!

according to Guilleme Balague (god knows how you spell his name) off sky sports he says Madrid will sign two Galacticos this season

Ruud Van Nistlerooy and Francesco Totti

he has been right on EVERY occasion when predicting who Madrid will sign in the past with Figo, Zidane, Beckham etc

he also says they will sign another two players, most likely to be Walter Samuel of Roma and Alonso i think he said

i doubt totti will go...samuel going to chelsea...guess the sky sports uy will be wrng this season

And today's performance was very bad...but it was partly expected without the likes of Ruud, Saha, Keane, Ronaldo and Scholes.

I hope this season hurrys up and finishes

2 hard matches till the seasons over as well, that could be 4 losses in a row, and then expecting to turn it on for the cup final. We definately need to bring established quality in, and Forlan MUST go the man is embbarassing to watch.
