Manchester United Thread

United will be without Hargreaves and Vidic (first leg only) definitely, and I'm pretty sure Anderson and Brown aren't quite ready to play in such a high profile match.

Rooney will at most have played one full 90 minutes in the past 5/6 weeks though, which could be very telling. He has a knack of scoring away in the CL, something we're pretty rubbish at.

C'mon Ryan....Brown started and set up Ronaldo's goal in Moscow and Ando crucially slammed his penalty away in the shootout...If they are fit enough, they are ready.

Rooney is our heartbeat,he should be fit enough by next week.He should play a part tonite against Fulham.

Rooney won't play IMO. Neville at RB and Evans alongside Rio and Berba may sit this one out.

Tonight is a big game anyway, hopefully we can get the 3 points and keep the pressure on Liverpool knowing if they slip up we'll soon be out of reach, Hopefully we can get to a stage were we can rest players for the QF or(more likely) SF(If we dont get beat by Inter) :))

Man City's away record = pitiful. No chance of any favours. We need to look to be 5 clear on Sunday evening. That I would more than happily take.

I think Rooney'll get some minutes. Gary is out with the flu, and apparently Brown has a knock, so definitely going to be our man Rafael on the right. Which probably means it has to be Park on that side too.

Hoping for a good performance, especially with Berba and Tevez having some rest.

Class performance tonight, Really starting to hit form, How good was Scholes today Eh? It shows age doesnt matter when one week our best player is Giggs and the next its Scholes.

Even Ronaldo was running at defenders today, Had a good game but hasnt caught fire yet. Rooney on, one minute later he's on the scoresheet.

Overall were playing better the further the season goes on, May sound premature but we are looking as Wenger said "Invincible" :))

That was one of the best individual halves of football I've ever seen from Scholsey. Just everything was flawless, I'm not sure he missed a pass in a half hour spell, was just running the game. Simon Davies' only job was to close him down, but he couldn't get near him. I'm shocked, he hasn't performed like that all year. I know Fulham weren't the strongest test we'll have, but if he can replicate that next midweek...

@ Metallica - Yeah I was tempted to watch that instead when we went 2-0 up, but didn't. Looks like I missed out! Down 4-1, come back to 5-4, plus down a man. Craziness. Hoping for highlights one of these days on mutv online, but right now nadda...

Hope I don't put a jinx on today, but we're starting to click a bit more up front. Early goals are great and I hope we can get one today.
Blackburn aren't the team they were under Sparky.

Yeh a early goal would be good, hopefully we can get 2 before half time and give the likes of Ronaldo, Ferdinand and Carrick the rest of the night off.

that cheating little cunt shouldn't have still been on the pitch to score that goal. He was booked for diving (which according to all bitter mancs, he doesn't do anymore ffs) and then get away with YET ANOTHER petulant little shithouse kick at an opponent.

When will a referee break protocol and send this cunt off for his little tantrums, every other player gets sent off for kicking out, this is the fourth time this season he's done it and not been punished.

is the premiership now becoming too easy, no one can get close to us, nani was shocking tonight, not as bad as webb tho!!!

:APPLAUD:
People like you make this world a better place.

Admittedly he is wrong to kick out, but the reson why is never mentioned. Dunn kicked him first but because he retaliated he is the guilty party. When did this become logical? It's just some stupid 'grandma' moral thing. 'two wrongs don't make a right' and all the websites (and scousers) need something to complain about. If it was the other way round, they'd still be claiming it was all Ronaldo and Dunn was right to have a go back.

Its reached a point now where it's not even worth arguing comments like that.
What's happened, has happened. If you like Ronaldo then great, if you don't then tough shit. He'll still be here every week to show you how its done, like with that freekick no matter how many times he'll do something negative.
