Browns done ok but not being a natural right-back thats expected. Deputising for Vidic recently he was poor and doesnt fill me with too much confidence.

Gomito's right, Brown has been brilliant as has Vidic, Evra and Rio. I think we have the best defence in Europe at the minute.

We just need Gaz Neville to be back to boost our already impressive backline.Our championship winning teams in the past always had a strong backline.A big hole was left behind by Big Pete when he left and we had problems finding his replacement.Other than that,we had no problems in 'upgrading' our defence.

Our current defence is almost perfect.A great partnership in the middle with two fullbacks bombing forward whenever the oppurtunity arises.All we need is somebody good enough to replace VDS when he retires soon.

Unfortunately players' performance in clubs and in National Teams aren't the same.

They gave us problems last week but they were on a high and we didn't have Vidic. Should be a good game and I think we'll scrape a win. 1-2

I really don't know about this one. Our defence is pretty rock-solid so hopefully Spurs won't put too many (if any) past us. I am not gonna predict it, that always comes back to haunt you (just see Liverpool thread :lol:)

I would of took 1-1 before the match and remember lads, Arsenal still have to go to Spurs themselves (we all remember what happened last time at White Hart Lane! :lol:)

well it was weird to see spurs dominate they had more chances then manutd...rooney was carded for a shameful dive. A pen should have been given but jenas roll the ball w/ his hand to give leenon the pass to score. It was ugly and unfair

Chelsea away 3rd from last fixture has been playing in my head for ages really believe that could cost us the title, we need to be ahead going into that gamee

I wouldn't worry about Chelsea away yet mate, we got to play Liverpool and Arsenal at home first. Goons gotta go to Chelsea aswell remember.

Yeh Rooneys dive was funny, actually thinking it was quite nasty match and Ronaldo wasnt involved in any of it :applause:

We HAVE to win our next few games because Arsenal have a nice run going although saying that their next few fixtures are:

Home to Blackburn in the league (Arsenal will win that), away to us in the Cup, home to AC Milan, away at B'ham (which is always a tricky fixture), home to Villa (I'd fancy Arsenal to win), then away at AC Milan.

Our next few fixtures are:

City at home (can never predict a derby game), Arsenal in the cup, Lyon away, Newcastle away in the league (that will be an interesting game) and Fulham away in the league (who will throw everything at us to avoid relegation zone.)

It's gonna be a TOUGH February/March I feel but it's shaping up to be some season! :)

Thats good, about time they started to clamp down on that behaviour. Offcourse Chelsea better watch out or they will end the match with 5 players.

I agree Tik, I hate it when I see my team (or any team) mouthing off at the ref. He has MADE his decision, why would he change his mind with you shouting your head off? Rooney is still TERRIBLE for it and picks up needless bookings.

I think Rooney is suspended now for match against City? Can anyone confirm?

What a lucky game, only saw the 2nd period but manU where trying hard to create chances but they were playing with their heart and not their heads, it was pretty lucky to draw the match. Ronaldo is playing too much, he needs to rest a bit.
