Manchester United Thread

Haha that's exactly what I said, right? Who's the idiot again?

I agree \\:o/

Last post before this, you didnt SAY anything seek...its just an emoticon.Well..its not like me to boast around but our WINGER is the current top scorer in the Premiership and he bangs them in,right, left, centre, header, penalty whatever....

you scouse lot had to buy a superstar from spain just to get in the numbers game and have crappy wingers.Nuff said.

Phrase, never did I question your precious Ronaldo's abilities. I was just poking fun at what Rune had said earlier (banter, some would call it). However, I think it's unfair to say that we bought a pre-packaged superstar in Torres. We all knew he was good, but this good, this fast? Did Ronaldo set the Premiership alight in his first season? True, Ronaldo was at an earlier stage in his career when he joined Man U, but that actually doesn't matter in this argument. What does is that like Ronaldo, Torres has and is improving tremendously since the transfer. Would they have exhibited the same kind of growth by staying at Sporting/Athletico?

I don't think so.

Our wingers do suck though.

Ronaldo was OVER confident he didnt even take his time, he thought he would just smash it in with ease :) its kinda a learning lesson , I would bet my house if his next penaly was against Chelsea,Liverpool,Arsenal in the 90th minute he would slot it in;)

Some keepers are just fantastic in penalties and Pepe Reina is one of them.I mean,if I am one to take against Reina, just knowing that fact that he IS that good should put me off my game a bit.

I am not too sure about Berbatov man...we could do with or without him,I am not too sure...If he brings that attitude to our club,it will not benefit us in any way...BUT,if he can stick to our mentality and our style and approach,he can be a world beater.

I hope for our sake you lot don't get Berbatov... If he really does have that attitude problem I can't think of a better manager than SAF to straighten him out

If it makes Spurs worse by all means have him, extra bonus if he goes and ruins the chemistry in your team and breaks C Ronaldos legs in a moment of madness during the first training session

If you do buy him, where do you think he will fit inside the team? Tevez and Rooney have been brilliant so far this season, so I can't see where he might play? And he's not the type of player who will stay on the bench for some games.

Good question abishek but this is the only formation i could think of.

----------------Foster----------------
--------------------------------------
-Bosingwa----Rio-----Vidic-------Evra-
--------------------------------------
--------Hargreaves-----Anderson-------
--------------------------------------
--Ronaldo---------Tevez-------Rooney--
--------------------------------------
---------------Berbatov---------------

Similar formation when we had Ruud in the team.

I don't agree with Foster in goal there, Ronaldo should be moved from the right wing into the goals in my opinion, I've never seen anyone dive so splendidly and as often as Ronaldo, he'd also be very useful in the one on none situation.

The first one you can see his lace whip the shin of Vieira and twist his ankle slightly and him landing awkwardly. Definate foul ;)

The second one looks like a foul to me. Doesn't really prove anything unless you see the video.

The 3rd picture is an old diving suit where you have to be lowered into the water. If he was in speedos and jumping off a diving board it would be funny. As thats where the term 'diving' comes from in football, as it mimics that motion. If a player got fouled and then lowered onto the floor with a tube attached to him and then walked around very slowly - then the third picture might be funny. But I suppose Man United supporters do grab at straws to get some cheap laughs :D

I'm off to find the clip where Vieira flicked his foot in the general direction of Ruud Van Nistleroy (Being about two foot away from him) and Ruud jumping back and rolling around the floor and getting Vieira sent off. Now thats a dive - but I think stuff with Van Nistleroy goes without saying - he was one of the dirtiest snide players that ever graced the premiership.

This is the picture I wanted to prove Van Nistlerooy was a diver;

Edit: just trying to get the picture on here

We all know Ruud was a diver - Fergie used to batter him for it.

Who cares anyway? EVERY club has a resident diver, even the "mighty" Liverpool.

I suppose thats true - Ah the New year sets in. Lets hope that divers get a plague of locusts descend apon them and rape them if they dive - I really hate divers - Eboue is doing it at Arsenal and the supporters hate him for it. Also - I haven't seen the game the other day but people said Fabregas feined injury the other day - why do people so talented do shitty stuff like this? really does piss me off!

Well, what I can say is,there are at least 1 black sheep in the herd anywhere...but I heard there is quite a few black ones grazing the grass at the Emirates...hahahaha.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO THE EVO-WEB COMMUNITY!!!
