Manchester United Thread

Where did you read that up? He is most level headed guy you can find in United squad.

definitely he knows 100k is a lot for youngster like himself (he has done nothing yet, to give him that kind of cash).

so Januzaj want £100k per week .... wow seems like united gonna be in trouble , I bet city can give him this :P

If that's true he can f*ck right off. He's played 1 match, and has proven nothing at this stage.

I'm hoping it's just paper talk, because if that's true of a kid that's always seemed pretty reasonable, I need to give up on football even more.

He should get exactly what United always offer youth players that move up into the first team.

As Fergie used to say (and ex-youth players): you can get very, very rich playing for Manchester United, but you have to earn it.

(except Ashley Young).

Why is Young still allowed to pull on that Number 18 shirt that Paul Scholes made legendary?
At least Valencia had the decency to ditch the Number 7 shirt after a bad season by his standards, Young should fuck right off now!

well its all over Albanian newspaper , they say that his agent is asking that if not he'll leave on january!

I don't know if I can believe that since Januzaj looks reasonable guy as u said but hey you never know!

how much young get paid ? get rid of him , give Januzaj his wage + wage they planed to give first to him and it will be alright :P

players allow agents/parents to do their bidding, its business ! nothing to do w/ the player. A player is responsible for his behaviour choices on n off the pitch.Im sure he`ll settle for £40k .

still a diver :P

Come on...
Imagine this team against Spain, Brazil, Germany...
Some of these teams (and yes Belgium too) are overhyped.
Januzaj and Shaqiri are very good players, but they can't win tournaments all by themselves.

Which country will win the world cup ?
One of the following: Brazil, Argentina, Italy, Germany, Spain.

One of these 5 teams will win the world cup.

There is not a single team that comes close...other teams, the so-called dark horses like Colombia, Switzerland, Belgium or this fictional Kosovo team might eliminate one or two of the above mentioned teams, but in the end one of the 3 other teams will win it.

As for our national team: i'm not even sure if they will participate...they still need two points. Tonight they play in Croatia and i see them loose that match.

Sorry for the off-topic.

Maybe the Dutch are contenders too.

But that's about all they can offer. He'll get less game time there, and they hardly have a proven track record of promoting youth.

He doesn't seem to me to be someone who only cares about money.

I know buddy it was just an ironic answer , I really hope he don't leave united at last not for Real or City since I see his carer can stuck with this teams!

There's also the chance not to work under Moyes.

He should go and work with Pep or go to Barca to become the best he can be.

It seems like every time Kagawa is playing for the national team, he's complaining about not being able to play at Utd. I wonder how many of that is lost in translation and the UK Media making the most out of another United story...

I do feel sorry for the kid...he has the skill and potential to be a regular, yet he's rarely on the bench now

Kagawa will be fine, he just needs to leave United. Saddens me a ton, but until we get a manager that really wants to change our style, he doesn't fit in it.

Zaha on the other hand is a mystery to me. He's looked threatening every time I've seen him at every level, and yet can't even get on the bench. He also kind of seems like a Moyes type player - big, strong, English and pretty down to Earth. Bizarre.

probably something to do with Moyes daughter after all? :D

Sounds like you're probably reading the likes of the daily mail etc..in that case I would say it wasn't lost in translation..it was lost and edited in some tabloid selling dick of an editors word processor.

This is an amazing example of the power of the internet, I was actually there 'live' to see it happen.
1. Zaha was tearing it up in a reserves game, being discussed on RedCafe
2. A couple posters (and me) started questioning why a player that looks that far above everyone else isn't even getting on our bench
3. A 'witty' poster made the default argument - "It's like he slept with Moyes' daughter'"
4. That made it onto Twitter
5. That made it into the media
6. Zaha actually responded

It's mental.

Nothing will top Kaka to United.

yeah i agree, media should be ignored...btw, this one is also crazy article just pure speculation about Januzaj...

Love this, not a single quote. A twist on what someone has said (Wilshere) and then because one player had an opinion this automatically makes it plural, makes it plainly clear the player has said nothing yet somehow they know he's ready to to apply for citizenship etc.

Wonderful journalism, about as much credibility as my facebook status'.

Obviously we don't have great access to the behind the scenes training, but Rene was always highly looked upon by both coaches and players (RVP had some great quotes) about his attention to detail, and how he shaped training each week to prepare for the exact matchups they'd be facing in opposition lineups.

He was also credited with a lot of innovation in training, and everyone speaks really highly of him at United.

Sounds like Moyes takes training himself, so didn't need two chefs, so to speak. Whereas Fergie left it to Rene. United wanted to keep him, but Rene wanted to be more important and integral.

Anyway, should do a good job. Wish him well!

Adnan Januzaj and his father gave an interview about 35 minutes long for a TV of Kosovo , they talked in Albanian so I dont put video here but here is a part of it

Adnan Januzaj happy at Manchester United and aiming to become world's best.

Januzaj to Kosovo's KTV: "I am happy at Manchester United and I want to commit myself 100 per cent in every game to do my best.

"I want to help Manchester United win the Premier League and become the best player in the world."

He added: "It is my dad who decides which national team I will play for so I will listen to him."

his father said that Albanian FA never talked to him and they lied few weeks ago when they said they have contact with Adnan Januzaj father , he said hes disapointed from them and Albania just did a bad step for his son to play there . but he said there are chances still he's going to play for Albania and he wont close doors , and at the end there's no chance he'll play for Turkey , Croatia or Serbia

Albania chances they will ever host Euros or WC ? That`s their chances of playing in those tourney imho

I wasn't talking about that , but anyway Albania will not host any Euro or WC , they don't have one single good stadium to play their games so we can't talk about hosting one .... about Euros I think they can get in there , with much work and FA changed not same corrupted one chances are there , of course isn't easy but not impossible as you think ;)

oh and there are some rumors about a Euro with 32 teams so than chances for see Albania there are even bigger LOL
