Mourinho getting ticked off bc of supposed foul on Ronaldo:

YouTube - Mourinho crazy vs Celta Vigo 09.01.2013

Looks more like a dive to me (albeit kind of a dumb one if true..would ve had a straight shot on goal), one that I'm sure from Mourinho's distance from the situation could ve looked like a foul, but regardless of who's right or wrong..the fact Mourinho gets so ticked off about it shows me he would be the natural replacement for SAF :LMAO:

It was to the tune of that but they were definitely chanting different words to the Rooney chant

It's something like 'if you're a blue, if you're a blue...'

But I can't seem to find the words anywhere. Didn't sing it when I went to Chelsea earlier this year either so I'm not sure.

Google the 'You think that your moustache is trendy/We know you're a blue' song. It's properly catchy.

Cheers ill check that one out. I'd love to know the other one

Looks like it's an almost fully fit squad, Rooney, Jones, Nani and Anderson all training

expect someone to get injured to balance it out. Sunday will be crazy, Suarez is in great form at the minute.

Hopefully are overall quality can get us over the line.

Apparently the chant is Kicking a blue, kicking a blue, what we like most is kicking a blue!

That's all I know at the moment!

Edit there it is

I hope our defensive line is able to put a stop to Suarez' dribbling, which is probably the one category in which I think he is better than RvP.
Still, I think too much focus is being put on the "battle of the strikers". It will be far more interesting to see how the midfield and defenses hold up. Plus, the potential for any controversy due to one or multiple players exploding into anger is always there with this match up. Even though I'm expecting Rio and Evans as CBs on Sunday..in some ways I'd prefer Vidic to be on the field with the captain's armband rather than Evra for this one.

I dunno about Vidic, Im not sure if he's really 'back' yet, am cautious to Suarez having him on toast when it comes to dribbling, Ferdinand/Evans would seem more reliable to me at the minute.

Cleverley, Carrick and Rooney I think will be better than their 3 I hope. (Yes I won't be shocked to see Rooney start).

I'm expecting Fergie to go with Ferdinand and Evans, as he gave Rio a rest last week, and will want Vidic for WHU in midweek. I'm almost sure it'll be:

-------------De Gea------------
--Rafael--Ferdinand-Evans-Evra-
---------Carrick-Cleverley-----
-------------Kagawa------------
------Valencia-------Young-----
--------------RVP--------------

With Ando, Jones and Hernandez the key subs if needed.

Anderson and Nani have been in training and SAF said it's likely that they'll be available more so than Rooney . Still I agree Rooney will probably play. Can't wait for Nani to return and hopefully in form. The guys a beast and arguably the best winger in the EPL. As much crap as he's gotten I'm glad he appears to be staying. Wish he could convert the criticism into performance like Suarez.

Nani is more talented than any other winger in the premier league. Problem being what he chooses to do with that talent. He was devastating two seasons ago, but hasn't really recreated that form for any sustained period of time.

disagree beach, I think for some reason people start getting on his back far quicker than others.

he could have been PFA Player of the Year in 2010/2011 IMO and he didn't hit those hights last season but was still very good racking up 10 goals and 14 assists. It's like people see Nani and want Ronaldo is the only explanation I can think off, lesser players get far more leeway for some reason.

Were dominating this match but putting Sturridge on has proved effective for LFC so far. Poor save by De Gea before the rebound..can't tell me Barthez, Smeichel or Van der Sar wouldn't have done better there.

terrible decisions by howard, how liverpool finished with 11 players is silly, i understand trying to keep it a fair playing field but rules are rules and skrtel i think it was should have been sent off, welbeck was straight through and also johnson would've received a yellow for that rugby grab like move on valencia hadn't he already been booked, but then again, howard webb is always in our favour apparently.

besides that, dominated first half, let them come into it more second half, last 20 minutes we just parked the bus really, decent game overall.

Agree, Webb gave the pool fans absolutely no reason to complain today.

Go Arsenal!

Unlucky enough to be in work for the entirety.

Lucky enough to be able to see the last 20 mins or so via Sky Go and be in a canteen full of Liverpool fans.

Just glad we've got 6 points off them this season. Seem to be doing nicely in the big games this year.

Those god damn glazers and there ruining of united, they were not allowed to sign any decent players in the off season and there is no depth up front.... Oh wait ......

Totally agree Webb played the whole match as if he was being careful not to offend any Liverpool fans. Maybe after their letter-writing campaign to ESPN, refs have been put on alert!

Of course, we won't hear a peep out of the RAWK-ites on this performance. But even Steven Gerrard can recall the Roy Carroll mistake (which he kindly brought up yesterday - 8 years ago Stevie, 8 years!)

Still won the game relatively easily, think LFC only actually had 3 shots on target, one of which was set up by De Gea. And no ref controversy for the paranoid scousers to moan about. Perfect.

It was men against boys yesterday - the gap between Man Utd and Liverpool these days is scary really considering Man Utd never really got out of 3rd gear and had Rooney, Nani etc all missing.

So the bit of good health hasn't lasted long then with Young and Vidic both coming off yesterday. Apparently Evans was injured too. There is always someone injured, always

Yep, hopefully nothing too serious.. Especially Vidic. The way he landed on that knee didn't look pretty in the replay. Apparently RvP took a knocking too and was playing with his calfs taped up for the 2nd half. Young left OT on crutches.

its that horrible pitch is why they get so many injuries.

Apparently old trafford getting brand new pitch re laid in summer.

Rooney, Ando, Nani and Lindegaard all back from injury tonight. Will be good to see them get a run out, but must say I'm more than a little concerned at how light-weight we are in the middle.

---------------Linde------------
--Rafa---Jones-Smalling-Buttner-
-----------Ando----Giggs--------

----Valencia----------Nani------
-------------Hernandez----------

Strong, but highlights the issue we have when Carrick isn't available.
