Making Gameplay Mod for EA FC 26

Dear community, I'm new here!

My goal is to make my own gameplay mod, inspired by the work of people who have made an incredible contribution to this community!

I have a certain vision, philosophy, thinking that I would like to put as the main idea of my mod, but the problem is that I don't know how to start creating this mod.

I will be grateful to anyone who can help with some useful links, tips, tricks, a base on how to start creating your first gameplay mod
 
My quick tips.

Gameplay in FC26 was divided for COMPETITIVE (groups) and AUTHENTIC (Simulation). Make you start off using the correct folder.

1759962082457.pngYou can even try the "big ball test" to make sure you are editing the correct folder.

Set soccerball_radius to 10 and you will see a large ball in kick off!

If you need a video to get you started here you go. It was for FC25 but the idea is very much the same.

It was because I came across your videos that I thought about starting to delve into the very idea of creating a mod

Can you explain at least the general base of values in each group? The main values?

For example, what does the "SoccerBall_InAirRadius" mean? What will change if you change this value, if you increase/decrease it?

If you use FMT. I try to explain a lot of the settings/variables you can change as best as I can, when I find them out.

However, I cannot really cant explain it all as there's so many!! Your next steps are doing what all of us do and trial and error until you see what suits you.
 
yes, I use FMT, because as I understand FMM is not available for the current version of EA FC.

I also understand that it is physically impossible to explain every option that can be changed, so I am asking about the main groups that are the basis for changing them.

Maybe if there are some main parameters that need to be changed to start with, I would be very grateful.
 
do you know by any chance how to cut boosts for icon player?
mine start to sprint like rocket all the time (I tried to cut boosts in moovement)
 
Another way to improve the gameplay, apart editing the ebx files that contains the parameters of the gameplay is to alter the player values.
Last year was a bit of useless since even putting very low values for passing and vision the teams score a nice 85/90% of passes. Probably authentic gameplay has some settings to make skills used better in gameplay. I didn't test this year, as I decided for now to go with gameplayfootball, but here the suggestion. Surely it will different from the other gameplays...
