Lost - Season 5

I agree with the above...

Some nice information about what happened with Locke, but it's going a bit slowly now (the last two episodes) and not revealing much.

imo:

ben killed lock because of something he said otherwise why bother killing him when lock was about to commit suicide?

seriously i think lock is going to kill that fucking prick ben for real now. if he dont then someone shoot lock and be done with because almost ANY human being with half a brain cell would of killed a person like ben if there was in lock's shoes

Very interesting. Should be great fun now.
It's hard to think that Widmore is not as terrible as we imagined. The show is very good but the last episodes slowed down the action a bit too much.

9/10

I thought had put a guys head under the back wheel of his car and crushed it or something? I'm sure it was in one of Desmond's flashbacks or time travel flashes after the hatch blew.

Seeing as all the other ppl who were on the island 'warped' off the plane, and Ben didn't, it might mean that Ben doesn't belong there, and that Whidmore was right.

Nothing to say that Ben didn't warp either tho, he might've just landed with their lot

Is it crazy to think that Christian Sheppard is really alive and was never a ghost?

Christian Sheppard (how did the died?) dies and then reappears on the island.
John Locke (ben kills him) dies and is reborn on the island.

I'm wondering the Walt scene was just a filler or he is really coming back?

The reason why walt never appeared after season 1 is because in real life his age and the timeline of lost is completely different. no need to explain more as you know the rest about the reasons.

i do feel that walt can come back into the show now asa regular seeing as lost is set 3 years from season 1

thought that was an awesome episode tbh. loved the way ben talked locke down, then as soon as he mentioned hawking, he turned psycho.

wonder what it is about elouise that spooked ben so much?

best appearance of whidmore in lost so far too... as usual, (even) more questions than answers! love it

That's exactly what I've been thinking. There is a definite link between being dead and then coming back to life on the island. The only thing that makes me think they may be ghosts of some sort is the fact that Christian acts as he does (kinda spiritlike and mystical) rather than like a normal person.

Ive been wondering about that too, pretty interesting unfinished business between those 2

Also its as though the whole Lost story has now done the full circle with this second plane crash with Locke taking Christians place has the come back to life dead bloke!

I wonder if the first crash with the original Losties is another one of these "we have to go back" storys which happend to someone else even before the likes of Jack, Locke, Kate etc even went on the island. That would be something!

I believe the reason he went' all psycho IMO is pretty simple this time. Ben "saved" Locke's life first but the didn't knew how to come back to the island, and as soon as Locke told him, he had no use to him.

Ben is trying to take Lockes place. Jsut like when moving the island, it was suposed to be Locke doing that, not Ben, and now it was suposed to be Locke bringing back the O6, not Ben.

Epic fail for Locke.

No, I dont see that. All Locke did was mention Elouise's name and Ben said 'yes' he knew her then killed him. Locke (seemingly) told him nothing - all I interpreted from it was Ben was going to use Locke as he thought Locke didnt really know what to do.

Ben knows Elouise holds the key for getting back and as soon as he knew Locke had that knowledge, he couldnt risk Locke getting back...

That may be true (about Christian) as when Locke broke his leg and said "can you help me up" Christian said "no john, no I cannot" - which could be because he is in spirit form?

But then
he's been telling jack to get locke back and arrange for his boy to be kept safe and arranged for it to be on the plane

Sunday's episode was a bit slow but still solid.

Just a question for all you viewers: Do you think the island is an infinite circle? Think about the question for a bit and then reply (maybe using spoiler tags).

Interesting episode with new questions (and some answers) but still very slow.

Josh Holloway is getting better and better every week.
Sawyer is by far the character I care about the most.

"Your buddy out there with the eye-liner".

7/10

Enjoyed this weeks, but they dont half make things difficult for themselves (the writers).

the next direction of the story, having the Losties live 'happily' on the Island for 3 years is a bit of stretch. Obviously more to come on this yet, but its another piece of the story branching out when there is still so much to tie up.

Least it makes sense from the other week though with Jin being all Dharma'd up!

there is still another season to go and where approaching the half mark of this current season so plenty of time to reveal everything mate

True... I like the way they are dropping bits in amongst the dialogue to explain previous questions like...

"if he's not careful, the Polar Bears are going to escape from their cages..." or something like that. So maybe the polar bear was real, but that was from the 70s - how long to Polar Bears live?

This is just weird, Ben must be on the island already with Dharma (or the others) seeing as Charlotte is on there as well and she is much younger than Ben?

How are they gonna work that part of the story out now he's back the the O6? Surely on they can't meet each other. But i bet a big battle erupts later on with the Survivors trying to stop Dharma getting wiped out by the others

Oh yeah and who is the baby gonna be if its part of the story, i though Ben until i remembered he came with his dad as a boy, it wouldn't surprise me if they said his name was John
