Part of me thinks it has something to do with how the chopper went "on a mission" away from the freighter, in a small cloud of mystery.Don't know, the bullets came out of nowhere but I suspect its Ben's doing.

SourceFirst, Miles is one of the ‘others’. I believe proof of that is when he asks Ben ‘do you know who I work for’. Second, saying that he wants 3.2 million dollars is his way of telling Ben that our rescue crew knows the bearing to get on the island; 3-2-5 (3.2 and 5 zeroes). Ben then asks Miles why not 3.3 or 3.5 and Miles says no, 3.2 million dollars—reinforcing that they are sure of the correct bearing. Fourth, when Miles says that Ben has one week to get the money, he is saying that more people are coming to the island in one week unless action is taken to prevent it. These are just my ideas, I just thought the conversation between Ben and Miles was so bizarre that it had to have more meaning behind it.

Extra Hour of Lost Confirmed
Season 4 gets one of its writers' strike casualty episodes back.
by Eric Goldman
April 11, 2008 - Confirmation has come, first from Eonline's Kristin Dos Santos, and now also from TV Guide's Michael Ausiello, on the news Ausiello had earlier this week that ABC was considering adding an extra hour to Lost this season, bringing its Season 4 total to fourteen hours. Of course fans will remember that the original plan was for a sixteen episode season, which got dropped to thirteen episodes thanks to the writers' strike.
Ausiello says Lost executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse really pushed for that extra hour, feeling it was necessary to complete the story they intended for the season. Ausiello quotes Cuse, who says, "We are very excited and grateful to [ABC president] Steve McPherson for working out the scheduling difficulties to allow us to make the second part of our finale two hours. Damon and I were working on the script and we just couldn't get it all done in one hour without shortchanging the story. Now the finale will have all the sweep and emotional completeness we wanted it to have — along with, of course, answering who's in the coffin."
The final two hours of Lost's fourth season will be aired back to back, which has caused ABC to revamp their May schedule. Originally, all three of ABC's new Thursday night lineup -- Ugly Betty, Grey's Anatomy and Lost -- were to air their season finales on May 22nd. Now however, following a new episode on May 15th, Lost fans will have to wait two weeks for the season to wrap up. Meanwhile, Ugly Betty and Grey's Anatomy will still air their season finales on May 22nd, but Ausiello says Grey's is also now getting an extra hour added to its finale, and will have a two-hour broadcast on the 22nd. Then on May 29th, the final two hours of Lost: Season 4 will air.
I watch the previews after each episode from both the US & Canada, and this one is well interesting, I missed it after the last ep
