Tevez was told he wouldn't be negotiated with until the end of the season. He was told that last year, he was told that at Xmas. Didn't stop him throwing a strop in the media about it. Yes we played hardball, what did he expect? Us to lavish him with money for his goalscoring ways? He was pretty rubbish last year. I watched every match, and I honestly believe there are 20 other players in the premiership would have gotten more goals with the minutes on the pitch he had (and those teammates). So no Carlos, you're not going to see United rush into the largest contract in UK history.
And then we damn well do offer it to him, and he spends 10 days thinking and decides he can't decide. About what? It's a simple yes/no. Do you like United? Do you like them enough to live on only £110,000 a week, rather than the extra £30k or so City/Chelski will offer? If yes, sign up, if no, then don't.
