I think he came on right after the first goal. Didn't play a part in the goals. Pennant was mainly responsible for the first goal, after a great run from half way line, and the other goal, was a cross from Lucas.

Looked really positive, always looking to bomb forward. Shame he couldn't link up properly, as he was always looking for 1-2s. Had some nice crosses into the box.

Well lifeless in the first half but great bounce back from the boys :)

Just afraid that Chelsea might have the upper hand this Wednesday.

Just seen the highlights and yep, Emiliano definately understands the terms "overlap" and "bomb forward" and "Pass and Move"

Shame none of our other players seem to!

One of the worst Liverpool matches I've ever seen. Utterly drab performance, especially the first half.

I'll say it again, Voronin HAS to go. He's just awful, he brings nothing whatsoever to the team and I'll actually say he makes us worse. Nearly every time he got the ball yesterday he messed it up, tripping over himself or looking confused that someone passed to him. We'd be better with ten men on the pitch.

True, the performance was awful. We looked lethargic.

And Voronin is shite! Shame he didn't get sent off for the elbow :-pp

Yeah, Torres was an expert diver in La Liga.

He's cut it out here, but still goes down on the odd occasion.

I see that the past two games Pennant has been playing
out of his skin(or for his Pool career). He's gone about mazzy runs and skinning players, why can't he do that every game...?

Hopefully I'll be watching you lot V Chelsea with excitement of who were going to meet in Moscow:) I hope its similar to the first leg, for once i thought a semi between you lot was quite good, 3rd time lucky eh;)

I would just hate facing United, if we go through. We haven't beaten you lot since ages. All our players just bottle it. But then again, what better way to end the losing run, than in the Champions League, which is our territory.

Still would prefer facing Barca though. Apart from the fact that they have been shite all season, Rafa has always had the better of Barca. He's their bogey manager. And Torres has always been immense against Barcelona. Puyol describes Torres as his least favorite attacker to face.

Got to go through first though ;)

Going to be interesting to see how Chelsea play, seriously if they have the same mentality as they did yesterday then you lot have little chance but i got a feeling you'll get lucky as they'll play it safe

Please please please ensure the chavs don't fluke their way any further this year. Between the 'opponents' in the draw to Riise to yesterdays handball...it's like all that oil money brings some good luck with. Karmically its just all wrong.

Hopefully a proper final in Moscow of Pool United...poor police :)

More interesting would be how we play. If we play like the home leg, I think we can win. On another day, Torres would have scored 2 goals. This is the first time under Rafa, we are going away without a lead, and also the first time, the 2nd leg is at the Bridge. In a way, it's good, because whenever we played home, there was always a danger of Chelsea scoring, and finishing it off.

Think we will attack right from the word go to get the early goal. It won't matter if Chelsea score, because we need our goal anyways. Once we get that, I expect us to just sit back, and hit on the counter.

Ballack and Essien are the biggest threat, but I am hoping they don't play together in midfield.

And PLEASE, PLEASE Steven, give a performance against the Big 3. You are due a LONG TIME. Got this feeling, Gerrard might be booked, but then will unleash himself, and destroy Chelsea.

Yeah Gerrard has looked like he has been doing nothing to make sure he doesnt get a booking, is taking a lot away from his performence. {note self: Doing nothing would do that :D}

Tbh, If manu get through Im not sure I would even want to get to the final.......

With such high expectation, I see a bad performance a more likely outcome.

And no no, even though I'm a huge Liverpool & Gerrard fan, I am realistic of what to expect from Gerrard these days. Abit like Garcia without the spectacular-yet-failed shot attempts, only glimpses of the Stevie G we really expect him to be.

Wish he will prove me so wrong on Wednesday :w00t:
