Lucho is a box to box central midfielder, and one of the most complete midfielder in the world. Similar to Barry, but with better dribbling, a better shot, and much better vision.

Skrtel definately. The guy has been a rock for us and I can barely think of any times when he's had bad games. In fact the only game I can think of was his debut against Havant.

Skrtel has been a revelation.

Apart from his debut against mighty Havant and Man U away (inwhich everybody was terrible BTW) he's been impressive. Strong in the tackle, pacey, hard and can pass a ball. Him and Agger will be awesome.

I'd like to see Insua given the last two games at left back now.

yes skrtel has been quite a find for you guys also Torres & Masch!! Babel & Yossi at times have good games!!

Babel has been really good this season, being his first season. That goal against Chelsea yesterday was AWESOME!! Benyonion also has played really well, should be given more first team chances. Torres, ofcourse has been great. Masch, the great Hulk. and Skrtel, that guy is awesome!! if that guy was not injured yest. the game could have changed!

I really want to see David Villa playing along side Fernando Torres. It would really be wonderful. David Silva would also be a great addition.

You know theres 3 players I'd love to nick off FC Porto that would improve us drastically in attack - Bosingwa, Quaresma & Lucho (maybe Lisandro Lopez as well).

God, how I hate that Porto can't keep their players. :r1

I sometimes imagine what team we would be if we could keep our stars from the last 4 years.

I hate the pre-season.
It's just amazing listening to our rivals saying "yes Porto players are magnificient" to every newspaper they can. It's like begging, if we read between the lines it's something like "pleaaaase, take their best players so that we can have a fighting chance".

Thankfully we have been able to always rebuild the team with other players, but someday that won't happen. :\

There's plenty of FC Porto players I'd have. Bosingwa, Quaresma and Lucho straight for the 11. Lopez as another striker in the squad. Maybe Sektiou to add some pace off the bench.

Well Quaresma will be available during the summer.

Apparently Manure have made a bid for Bosingwa,
but Porto want £20m for him.

And Lucho should be first choice signing seeing as
Alonso is to be a part of the mass culling during the
summer.

I like the sound of Mancini at 4M. Very inconsistent, overrated, but still one of the best wingers out there.

Yeah for £4m you couldn't do a lot better to be fair. He's definitely got the talent, he probably just needs to find the right manager to make him more of a consistent threat and maybe that's Rafa.
