02/15/2004. Brazilian Fabio Rochemback of Sporting Lisbon is being followed by Italian giants Juventus.

This news has been reported today on Portughuese newspapers as Juventus scouts were spotted on Friday night in Portugal to follow the 22-year-old Brazilian.

Rochemback is on loan with Sporting Lisbon from Barcelona, and Juventus might use the Davids card to obtain the midfielder directly from the Spanish club.

Our Ale in action and Captained the side too :D

Rosicky scored a stunning goal. With the players we fielded, we shuda won. Ale should atleast score to prove hes returning - he didnt do much compared to him being in form.

The 'big' players only played the first half.

I also think Ale played reasonably well. He set up the first goal. He was the danger man in the first half.

It was only a friendly, every player playes very carefull.

02/18/2004. Udinese midfielder Marek Jankulovski says that a move to Juventus very much appeals.

"At the moment I want to focus on getting Udinese into the UEFA Cup and to have a big European Championships with the Czech Republic," he said.

"Then it would appeal to me to go to a great club. Where? My future could be still Bianconero. But in Turin. If I had to choose, in fact, I would go to Juve with my friend Pavel Nedved."

What do you think ? is he good enough ?

Alessandro Del Piero made an impressive return to the Italy squad and insists this strength in depth makes them Euro 2004 favourites.

“I think that Giovanni Trapattoni’s only problem this summer will be deciding between the myriad of options open to him,” noted the Juventus captain.

“The fact there are so many of us playing at the highest level, especially in attacking positions, can only be a good thing for the Coach of an international side.”

The Azzurri trio of Del Piero, Francesco Totti and Christian Vieri combined well during the first half of their 2-2 draw with the Czech Republic midweek, but there are several starlets jostling for places.

Antonio Cassano is expected to push into the side if he continues to shine for Roma, while Fabrizio Miccoli and Marco Di Vaio are impressing at Juve.

Casting an eye over the whole tournament, the experienced international sees three main contenders for the crown.

“The ones to watch will certainly be holders France,” continued Del Piero, “but I would keep a close eye on the Czech Republic.”

“They are on fine form right now, have stars of the calibre of my friend Pavel Nedved and showed by twice fighting back for a 2-2 draw that they have a great deal of character. And don’t forget the Czechs are unbeaten in 19 games.”

Italy are said to be among the favourites for the tournament in Portugal, particularly after the draw placed them alongside Sweden, Bulgaria and Denmark.

“I wouldn’t say we had the easiest Group phase,” insisted the Bianconeri hero. “There is always an outsider that surprises in these competitions and I see Bulgaria filling that role.”

We have to play better if we want to catch up with the Leaders we were lucky we did not concede during the 2nd half and just about hung on , Roma in particular impressed today banging in 6 but there still is hope and I do not want to surrender the title yet. I hope we play better against Depor :x

Trez is back for the CL, what do we think?

Vecchia Juve Ritorna Ancora!

I hope we play a 4-5-1 formations: Del Piero Nedved and Camo as omf's behind Trez

Or a 4-4-2, with Nedved and Maresca on the flanks and del Piero raoming around/behind Trezeguet.

We can score 2 at the dele alpi but you know what we are like, we leave things to the very end ;)

Black & white forever :D

Nice to see ADP back on the scoresheet today, I felt bad for Parma as they have been good as late. Roma firing on all cylinders but all eyes will be on the Lazio - Milan game tonite. ;)
