Inter Thread

among the players of my lifetime, although I'd rate lahm just a lil bit higher, JZ will always stay my favorite right back. his achilles' injury brought a tear to my eye.

one and only, "Il Capitano"!!!

just watched his last game at meazza now and the man looked like he could still go on for another five years. his runs are still ridiculous. il eterno trattore!

very nice scene between him and the pitch invading fan too. classy guy.

I'm sure if Mazzarri wasn't manager, Zanetti would have the enthusiasm to play for another season. He has what it takes.

somehow i have the same feeling...

i hope we see mazzari gone in the near future. we didn't have proper coach since rafa left.

It's a real shame - as it's almost as if he's being forced to retire. I'm all for using young players, but if a player still has it and brings something unique to the team, I think they should still be playing. Javier is a rarity - there aren't many left in Football. I think all that's left now is Totti and Pirlo.

way much better choice than mazzari and all those idiots who prefer 3-5-2 formation with this inter squad.

Hey guys - this is a long shot considering that nobody has posted in here for four-and-a-half years... :D

I'm going to Milan in May, primarily to see the San Siro - it's been a dream of mine since I was a kid. I was hoping to go and see the final game of the season there, which is Inter v Empoli on May 26th.

I've signed up to the website and I keep refreshing the tickets page every day, but tickets for this match aren't on sale yet.

Just a few questions if anyone can please help!

Firstly, do you think I'm likely to get a couple of tickets for the last game of the season? Or will they sell out quickly? Secondly, is this the best way to get a ticket? (Some are selling tickets on dodgy reselling websites but I don't really trust them...)

Finally, any advice on attending (and/or visiting Milan in general)?

Thank you!

There are specialised websites to buy tickets for foreign matches Chris.
The trick is to find a trustworthy site that has tickets without hotel arrangements.
Perhaps you should ask in other threads. There must be foreign fans who buy tickets for English football…

I would love to se Spurs in their new stadium, London isn't far from Belgium...

Bonazera Nerrazuri!
It roumors in Germany that Inter will have new team logo and name. Is it true?
I hope more for a new coach...
Not sure about the name but I also heard about the new logo, apparently it should be something like this:

The letters IM (which, as a Milanista, I suppose will stand for "Inter m***a" because you finally realized you suck 😂 ) should be golden on a black background.

Oh, I didn't see there is an Inter thread here before. Just skimmed over some pages and saw Mancini, Zanetti etc. Good old times. But also strange guys came back into mind like Mazzarri with his weak excuses after every loss. I also read the name Pele again, the young Portuguese midfielder, what happened to him?
I hope they will keep the old logo or use something from 70s/80s/90s and just change little details, but not this style that reminds me too much of new Juventus logo

I have not seen the game yesterday but in general I think Conte is easy to read for other Managers as he always plays the same formations, tactics and all, very one dimensional, and I don't like his behaviour in his interviews, for example last summer after Euro League final and last Serie A game. He is a bit like a higher profile version of Mazzarri. I was very disappointed with the Champions League performances (again!). Now the Scudetto is almost a must. If the mercato will be low cost in summer I would not be surprised if he leaves the club. All in all the results are not that bad but I still got the feeling there is a bit more potential if he had a plan B (and I don't think it is enough of a plan B to switch from 3-5-2 to 3-4-1-2 for the last 10-20 mins or bring Perisic as more attack oriented player for Young)

This is 100% my toughts! :)

Pirlo make yesterday a better job than his teacher Conte. And the Inter offensive was running against the Juve wall with de Ligt, Demiral and later with Chielini also.
