I'd prefer damage too but get a grip folks- it's £20 for christ sake. Looks absolutely superb.

I will be annoyed if there not many new tracks for full game Nürburgring getting tiresome now been in every car game i know its ultimate track some would say but ye getting dull as dishwater now.

Needs to be more new tracks in games Forza 2 become borefest for this reason not enough tracks (and variations mostly) i enjoyed other aspects of game but this was major flaw seems all work was focused elsewhere and not on tracks.

Also the fact that GT5 FULL VERSION will be basically the same as prologue but with tonnes of cars (A lot of which no one will care about) and some more tracks, Same awful AI and bumper car physics and not a lot else....

Sony clearly realise that GTA is a massive game and they need to get it out now to sell more consoles. Cant see the full game being too successful imo.

Haha lol. Neil the only reason we moan about damage mate is because this game calls itself the REAL driving SIMULATOR and yet it lacks the basic elements of a DRIVING game.... Physics (the car feels like its on air and has no weight to it) and of course crash damage...:BY:

Fair enough but I like the series and disagree about the driving not being realistic (apart from the lack of damage obviously!)

To me mate the game lacks the physical element. In Forza 2 (with the force feedback wheel) I can feel the cars weight and feel the precise moment that the tyres are losing traction and im getting understeer or Oversteer when im correcting an error.... it feels fuckin brilliant! In GT's past and present Ive never really felt as if im in control of a Car... more like a Hovercraft!

Getting awheel is a bit nerdy for me mate but fair enough if you enjoy it. Happy with the joypad myself. The GT graphics look awesome so you may as well get it for such a cheap price. Look forward to your posts next week slating the physics though- think your mind is made up! Like me with FIFA tbh- could never ever enjoy that game.

Well DJ Doc if you are getting this game i look forward to your comments on another forum (not GT bias forum for your information) i go on plenty of people are happy with physics some say there better then Forza (not so sure id go quite that far i think they match them on simulation). I dont use a wheel but read loads of comments on this game especially been reading the comments from Amar on GT planet who has Pal version

To me i feel real weight on the cars and it would match what Amar saying as can be seen here.

"Full carbon-body of GT40LM looks so evil in HD, while front-window sticker makes in-car view so damn claustrophobic - something we've been waiting for too-long I guess. Also, since it's basically a first race-car ever available in new Professional physics, I find it both very impressive and demanding to drive. It literally eats pavement on straights (and sounds as just as great), while you have to be very careful through turns, especially in first laps when tires are still cold. I find it as an extraordinary driving experience, more sophisticated than any similar seen so far on consoles (Forza 2 included), because it doesn't feel like you're driving something glued to the track (which is always the case with racing-classes so far). It's a great step forward for simulation aspects of the series and right now I just can't wait for some true-breed race-cars of GT5"

I see on the web, the AI is at 25% and you can put it at 100%, i really want see a video with AI at 100%, in professionnal mode without help, can be crazy :))

In the uk as far as i know its Release Date: 28/03/2008

The game goes on the store on Thursday and is released in retail the next day, dont know about a demo...

Every time I see the graphics I want to play it, every time I remember the speed penalties I want to plan an infiltration of their offices to track down and kill their leader.

It's not out until Friday is it Radiation? When does the PS3 store update each week? I read it was a Thursday but I don't know, I'm new to waiting for things in the store.

There was a demo in Japan late last year so we've got to be getting a demo soon, surely?

It will be available to download off PSN on 27th but expect to pay £25 for it.

Can be had from Shopto for £19.99 or Play £17.99.

Edit: There should be demo yes. :)

There's more to games than graphics. Gameplay > Graphics imo, plenty of games look great but play like crap.

I wish Deftonesmx still posted here, he could explain exactly what I mean about physics and GT....

@Bingham perhaps them people on those forums are DIE-HARD GT fans? DIE-HARD Forza 2 fans are the same. Im not either one of them I just want the best driving game and as much realism as possible without going too far, GT just doesnt give me that, in fact it feels closer to Ridge Racer than it does a Proper Driving game..... funny that is seeing as Polyphony Digital claim it is the REAL driving simulator ;)

As i explained above there not die hard GT fans and neither am i as i say play the new one see what you think.

Infact alot of them used to play Forza alot but people think new GT5 prologue is equal if not better then Forza. Some have not even liked Gran Turismo 4 but are loving this one with new physics.

This video is Ford GT quite big but shows there is weight in effect.

At end of day im not here to change your mind about this new game you either hate it or you love it but i certainly wouldnt judge it before you tried it.
