[General Discussion] What have you been playing this week?

Been playing a bit of stardew valley lately. I've tried to get into it a lot of times over the years now on different saves (to the point where I have 70+ hours despite never making it past year 1) but I think this time will be it.

As usual this time of year I have been playing the game of lambing and not had time for anything else, I did dig up my old PSP and had a couple of Everybody's Golf games in the barn, although I barely had time to play it I was impressed with the now ancient PSP's battery which still has a charge three weeks after I plugged it in.
Special shout out to Capcom, which are releasing the Onimusha 2 remaster at midnight, just when lambing is ending. Apart from that I'm debating with myself if I should buy Forza 5 on PS5 or wait for a sale.

I'd recommend to not buy forza horizon 5 unless it goes on sale. Don't get me wrong, you should definitely buy it at some point, but the price is too much when Forza Horizon 6 will probably release within a couple years. But yeah when it does go on sale definitely grab it, it's a fantastic game.

After finishing the lambing game a grueling new game + has arrived, I had to put the sheep back inside because of bad weather. Bizarrely, this strange weather phenomenon, which is mad even for Iceland, is happening almost to the day at the same time as a similar cold spell happened last year. That's when I plunged into Mass Effect, not to really look back until I finished the trilogy, this time I did get Forza 5 (on Days of Play discount) and have been playing the Onimusha 2 remaster.

And the story I wrote in the DCS thread continues.

I bought Broken Arrow with CD keys to get it in Advanced Access on June 16th, and most importantly, for €10 less.

It started well: I could activate the game in Steam, but I couldn't start it at all. Because the green "Start Game" button was missing from the Steam library.

I then looked at the game's Discord. I wasn't the only one with the same problem. And, among other things, one of the publishers couldn't think of anything better than to claim that it was our own fault and that we had stolen the game.
Well, eventually, after about an hour and several restarts of Steam and the PC, it finally worked.

I'll try to keep this brief.
  • It feels like the balance is different every time I start the game.
  • Russian units are largely superior (or were for a long time).
  • Therefore, the game isn't necessarily realistic.
  • Cheaters, cheaters, and more cheaters.
  • And bugs + in almost 50% of multiplayer matches, one to four players in 5v5 players leave the match. Whether intentionally or due to a desync, I don't know.
  • Units can be upgraded. Although often the more expensive or most expensive option isn't necessarily the better one.

But none of this would be half as bad - whatever couldn't be fixed - if the developers didn't also come from Ruzzia.

I'm so fed up with PC games right now, no one would believe it!

Sorry for the long post.

Yea this was that what I'm playing last week.
