bad goalkeeping is all i saw

The balance Wijnadlum has to maintain in order to hold off two challenges and then finish across his body is what makes this goal special. I'm not saying it is a world class goal, but it still is special. Based on his momentum, Leno is expecting him to go the top corner on his right which is why he ends up having to adjust his arm late and at an awkward angle causing him to palm the ball straight up rather than over his goal. It's not like it was the most routine of stops.

By your reasoning, this is bad goalkeeping:

The Wijnaldum goal. Yeah is a good dribble, but the shot is at a decent height. Any keeper with his gloves should have pushed that around his post imo.

Shay given never played for ireland after that tournament and was at fault for most if the goals we conceded

I'll admit that the shot is not great, but it is more about where Wijnaldum places it that makes it difficult for Leno. There is no way Leno could have pushed that shot around his post. His only option was to tip over the bar. However, because the shot crosses Leno's body he was always going to be reaching back for it. That severely reduces the amount of power Leno has available to then tip the ball over the bar. The result is that he can only parry it away at a 90-degree angle. To me, that is why the goal is more about Wijnaldum than Leno, even though it doesn't look as clean or as flashy as other top goal contenders.

Maaaan! Sandro has a shitty English.
I expected more from him. I could understand what he was saying/implying half of the time.
I think that he should have spoken in Italian or even French, the outcome could have been less painful to watch.

Sitting down with Alessandro Nesta

the only italian (related to football) I know who can speak English well is Moratti :D btw, is it just me or Nesta's voice really sounds a lot like Mourinho? :D

Andrea Agnelli speaks perfect English aswell, he attended university in Oxford.
