Balotelli si Ibra v.2 in making...

seems ignorant and stupid off field, but reality is different imo.

young Gerrard and Owen..

I'm not sure what the funny part is: Beckham slipping or the tie the man behind him is wearing.

I completely agree. Both players know what they are, and enjoy playing with the media. This is one of the reasons why I think Mario is fitting in to Milan so well.

where is the rest of the picture as I am probably on the left somewhere, I was at lfc shoolboys for 3 years with them? (Andy moran second from left bottom, and I think Jason koumas next to owen as I played with him at LFC and Tranmere)

I remember Stephen Wright (big ears) who is also on that picture who played pro

wow, you might be spot on...you played with Gerrard and Owen...wow!

i find this pic on lfc fourm, there is no more of it unfortunatelly :/

shame, I don't have much from those days.

only certificates, reports and team sheets with their names on.

yea, on same team and against many times.

sounds really cool , you still play ?

would love to hear your story buddy , if you got time please share those details with us :D

Don't play anymore, my body is shot.

Was at Liverpool with lots of players who made it pro for 3plus years. (school boys)

Owen, Gerard, wright, koumas to name a few

Remember my first day at melwood and the likes of John Barnes there, a young lad was knocking free kicks into the goal ,his name was Robbie fowler.

Steve heighway was our coach who my mum remembered as a good left winger from the 70s.

Used to meet the players and get free tickets, touched the lfc sign at anfield as a kid and a supporter was cool, played on the pitch there.

Then got released because I was to small, if only I played now....

Then went to tranmere for a few years, then Chester.

Then hung boots up.

Got lots of stories and pros I met but won't bore everyone

Would like to find other half of that picture, as I should be on it, so if anyone finds it please let me know.

Wish I had some footage of when I used to play, got to be something out there lol.

Used to play against all the clubs as a kid, played against owen for England, wes brown, Gerard. Michael ball everton

Used to rip Michael ball, he was left back I was right wing

It's stupid to reject players because they are too small.
I work as a youth coach and also as a scout for some bigger clubs.

I have a perfect example as a player who was rejected by Belgian club Lierse SK. The player was 14 year old and he was rejected because he was not big enoug and not strong enough. Two years later he began to grow and got some muscles. He is still a young player but i don't have the impression that he is too weak and too litle.

His name ?

Romelu Lukaku....

It's all about ability and character...not about size.

PS: what happened with Seedorf...it seems a very weird sending off.

This was 20 years ago, so back then it was different

today it doesn't seem to matter as much

Messi, El Shaarawy, Bale... I bet these guys wouldn't have made it back then.

Apparently he was subbed off and walked off the wrong end of the pitch, so the ref gave him a second yellow. It's his 2nd red in his whole career I think.
