FIFA World Cup Brasil 2014

Not sure how much Suarez would've helped Uruguay in this match... Colombia seems two divisions better in every aspect of the match.
 
I'd rather keep my eye on Carlos Sanchez... man of the match imo. He's the main reason Uruguay has created diddly squat tbh.
 
Incredible how a team like Uruguay went from producing good football to one of the dullest teams around. The fighting spirit is still there, but everything else is gone...

Love this team so much, filled with talented and professional youngsters.

I have way too many favourites this WC though, not a good thing because not all of them can win :p
 
I haven't really seen a Columbia match before this one, I think I just found my new team after Chile got dropped - I'm rooting for Costa Rica as well.

Oh dude, but you should. Find some extended highlights at the very least. And yeah, also rooting for Columbia and Costa Rica, mainly.
 
Well done Columbia. The way they play reminds me of the way Brazil use to play before the turn of the century. Would love to see them win the cup.
 
Yep, Colombia dominated every game so far, they are such a balanced team and they never loose their coolness on these games, total control.

Brazil on the other hand, keep strugglin' :LOL:

Ramires was incredibly nervous, absolutely ridiculously nervous! And a bunch of players as well, they are at home but their mind is on the opposite place where it should be.

I blame the coach, and his family/war approach. Its just football
 
Brasil needs a foreigner coach urgently! All Brazilian coaches are mediocre.
I´m sure Bielsa, Sampaoli, Guardiola or even Guss Hiddink would bring back the joy to cheer again for Brasil.
Scolari with his lack of boldness and stubbornness are becoming unbearable.
There is not a creative midfield or even a midfield, Fred and Jo aren´t NT material. It hurts to see a team that had the likes of Romario, Ronaldo, Bebeto, Careca, etc depending on Fred an Jo.
At least Neymar understands his role as protagonist and is calling the responsibility to him.
Thinhs against Colombia will be complicated, saw that painting by James Rodriguez today at Maracana! The stadium went nuts!

What about a trade bebo? USA gives Brasil Klinsmann and you can take Scolari plus Parreira!

guys, you're over-rating Chile, I mean they're good, but nothing that impressive or joyfull to watch as Mexico and Columbia for example.
Chile got what they deserve, being in the last 16 is enough for them.
 
Chile defends better than Mexico. Both teams stopped Brazil.

Brazil is looking so poor! I guess I was right being pessimistic about this team. Not pessimistic, but realistic.

Both Fred and Jo were useless - there was no movement and they didn't even win too many headers against Chile's midgets.
The right thing would be to go with a false 9 at this point, between Neymar, Hulk and maybe Bernard.

William should be playing ahead of Ramires too.

Colombia beat Uruguay comfortably IMO. James Rodriguez a real joy to watch. That was easily amongst the best goals of the competition so far.

I don't think Brazil will go through the quarter finals, although Chile defend better than Colombia as a team.
 
I agree, they defend better than Mexico and Colombia, but nothing special about them, that's even their regular level, some good fighters with no excellence.
