FiFA [2006-2011] Next gen ports via RPCS3 and Xenia

Disappearing goalkeeper in FIFA 10 is now fixed on the latest build (need to clear caches and rebuild)
Thanks man. I was giving it a try, and it works :CONFUSE::CONFUSE: They finally fixed the goalkeeper bug lol Played 2 matches with no problems.

I tried FIFA 09 and the 2014 World Cup with the hopes of them being fixed too, but they still give me problems 😔FIFA 09 with the PPU Trap error, and World Cup game with the texture problems (honestly i don't like much the gameplay in the 2014 World Cup game). Guess i will have to wait for those games.

Can you test if it is working with update 1.04?

After expending quite a lot of time, i managed to make FIFA 09 work, by turning off "write color buffers". It appears that it doesn't crash with that turned off. But.... without WCB, the game looks too bright. Especially during day matches. The grass is too bright.

So, if someone has the same problem, can try that.

Do you have experience playing FIFA 11 in Manager Career mode?

I would like to hear your opinion on the level of difficulty of the AI. Legendary and World Class seemed like such cheats to me )) Because small, modest teams turn into beasts that play like Bayern.

Is the professional level good enough?

Hi folks!

Do you know how to update squads on RPCS3? I've installed latest patches for Euro 2008 or FIFA 10, for example, but squads are same (summer for FIFA 10 and non-Euro for Euro 2008).

Xenia is not an option, on Linux it's unplayable for me.

Not tried for these specifically but for other fifas you have to load squads from the in game settings menu.

Did anyone see that new program that makes porting xbox360 games to PC ''easier''? Or something like that. I saw that people ported the xbox360 version of Sonic to native PC 🤯

And someone is working on Silent Hill Downpour (or that's what they say)

It would be amazing if someone could work on porting the FIFA games from the xbox360 to PC, even if it takes tons of time 🤯🤯

It actually takes a huge effort. I wish I knew coding. If I did, I'd personally go out of my way to decompile rtwc 06 and wc 06 at least. However, that's beyond my capabilities. Maybe I should start learning coding, but that will probably take 10-20 years minmum to even learn reverse engineering.

Well maybe in 10 years AI would get to the point where you can drag and drop an ISO into a chat box and it'll port it into a portable PC recomp in one click

Yeah, i know it requires a lot of effort and knowledge, but.... knowing that a tool already exist for the public thanks to the people that made the port of the Sonic Xbox360 game.
And knowing someone is already working on porting Silent Hill Downpour. It looks very hopeful knowing that one day we could have a native pc game of these old FIFA games, and not having to emulate them.

I like emulation, i appreciate that there are people doing these emulators, but the RPCS3 and even more the Xenia, has tons of problems, even after all these years.

LIke, i just updated the RPCS3 to the latest version, and now i cannot play any game anymore. Tried everything to make it work, but nope. I had to revert back to the last working version.

So knowing that the tool XenonRecomp exist now, is a game changer.

To reverse engineer and then port a game like RTWC 06 or WC 06 would realistically require a team on the level of EA or Microsoft. It's just not a feasible thing to even consider as an individual, unfortunately. I would love to see those games on PS5 or PC. I still play WC 06 on PS2 emulator.

I think the biggest problem here is getting someone with the skills to be interested in these old FIFA games.

Because the people that have skills, i assume are just gonna focus in other games like the Gears and etc. Like the guy working on Silent Hill.

Supposedly, the people that made the Sonic unofficial port, took just 6 months. What it took years was making the tool (but according to some guy, they made the tools at the same time in those 6 months).
I know nothing about Sonic games, but that one supposedly was ''AAA''

Lets hope someone in the future get interest in the FIFA games.
