Champions League
You have an unusual camera angle to play with. Have you been playing like this for a long time?
Yes I have been playing like this for years now. Pretty much when I switched to PC in order to play the extended demo of FIFA 16. It was in the middle of 2017. I first decided to adopt this camera in order to practice for a player career which I finally never did.
There is many things I like with this view. For instance I have more immersive view of the stadium. A more immersive view of what is going on on the pitch too. I can spot easier ball call from my teammates (such as on the Embolo goal of my last video) but also all the communication going on the pitch. Ai controlled players actually do a lot of gestures. I also feel like animations look better on that distance.
I recently switched to the training arena camera which gives an even closer view when on the ball. I really like it because I have to feel the positioning of my teammates more than I actually see them. It reminds me a lot playing the actual game.
Defending can be tricky because of the zoom out and the fish eye effect on the screen symbols. The camera focus is not designed to work with that much height as the camera is normally only used in the arena.
