Depends what the GK Ability slider does. What you've described is what the GK Handling attribute does, but I wonder whether or not the GK Ability slider is perhaps a modifier on ALL goalkeeper-specific attributes. That would be more logical, I think.i think maybe its good to raise keeping ability also? however i have mine decreased as i read that at lower keeping they dont save less they just punch instead of catch.
I've seen some slider sets where the GK is in the mid 40's and I find the keepers are just not aggressive enough coming out for balls. It's just not a matter of making saves.
so Gk ability doesnt mean how good gk reacting on the line of goal but how often gk coming out for ball ?
Yesterday night I had an awesome match playing Fifa 12 on legendary difficulty and full manual settings. It was tense, challenging and I won 1:0, and it felt great.
I can only advise anyone to play on legendary difficulty, it provides that thrilling feeling and makes any victories very satisfactory.
I will try but often I struggle on pro so I cant see it being fun unless I reduce some cpu sliders to make it easier for me.
So what camera view do u use and do u adjust the angle and height ??
what game looks more like a real footy game to watch fifa12 or pes2012?
Fifa, as soon as you see the animations of PES it looks nothing like real football. PES plays out a bit more like real football though although the goals are still a bit OTT but thats why we love PES right?

Producer David Rutter has stated that FIFA 13 will contain more new features than FIFA 12. He was quoted as saying "We've got so much stuff we still want to do. EA Sports Football Club this year is brilliant, but there's even stuff we wanted to do this year that we didn't get to, When people get to see that in the next few years, they're
going to be totally blown away." [1]

is this real?
Most of it sounds like it's improving the visual aspect, which in my opinion is already good enough. No mention of tweaking the player movement to make the gameplay "feel" more realistic?! That's what I want to hear.

on a side note why is tiger wooods 2013 out like next week?
The first two are clearly bugs. Just dodgy collision detection and inconsistent player-selection problems; the latter happens all over the place. They don't deliberately choose to glitch at an opportune time. Nobody writes games that way. It's such an illogical notion.I don't know, maybe these are just some bugs, but if not, it may be an instrument of the game to script things, ie. to prevent goals.
It's as if I hadn't even made that post...Exactly Calcio; for all we criticise PES it will be interesting to see this year if FIFA has shot its bolt in terms of the gameplay. Another year of stagnant/clueless AI could start to see a tipping point towards PES....but if only they can just get it right for once!
Whatever you are describing is not scripting. It is not the game deciding your actions should succeed or fail in order to create a particular end result. For me, the scripting this year in both games is just through the roof, and this can only be designed to hide the flaws of certain aspects of the game or (in FIFA's case) to create excitement from an otherwise dull product.

I really do think there should be a ban on the word scripting on Evo Web because people use it willy nilly, and seldom when correct. The list henrys hand gave did not contain a single scripting incident, for example. The first two are bugs, issues that EA need to work on but have greatly improved over the past few years. The third is refereeing decisions, which are very hard to code to work perfectly, and are typically only watched over and over again when they go against you, not for you. I know I've committed a lot of fouls recently that haven't been given.
