Fifa 11 Xbox 360/PS3

so I've heard that there's ways for cheesers to play as a super team or whatever in disguise and switch back to semi or assisted when they're the guest in a Custom Manual game, do these rumors hold any water?

Would be terrible and most likely ruin all of our manual leagues if true...
 
I must ask, how are you guys at scoring goals against the CPU? Are you scoring plenty? I'm really struggling on Professional right now. I think I haven't won in like 20 games or something. I'm always conceding at least 1 or 2 goals from headers and since I can score a maximum of one goal per game it's not going pretty good :P

Talking about headers. I think it has happened to me 5 or 6 times now. I'm 1-0 up and when the clock hits 90 min the CPU crosses the ball and heads it in and there's absolutley nothing I can do about it. It's like it's meant to be because they have to score. I've had Aaron Lennon muscle Yakubu off the ball when the CPU have been in their "must score now" mode...

I really want to enjoy this game but right now it seems I'm simply too poor at this. I haven't played Fifa since last october when I gave up on Fifa 10 and I haven't played the WC game, maybe that could be a reason.

Superteams are there, EA said that theyre working on it. The controls switching is already fixed, so theres no way to change controls in manual game:BYE:
 
Any tips on defending corners in online matches? I can stand in front of the attacker, i can stand next to him, but I almost never win the header... Im really struggling with this and its starting to piss me off...

^^Sums up my experience too. On Legendary I love how the CPU plays when attacking but on defense (even with adjusted CTs) the CPU defenders can be no fun to play against; drop it down to WC and it's the complete opposite!

Gameplay can feel extremely unbalanced and it's been something of a roller-coaster of a ride. Silly as it may sound, I recently realized I was gripping the controller too tight and mashing the buttons too hard, and I noticed when I play more relaxed with a softer touch, I play much better. It may sound obvious but I find that unlike in PES this game can really force you into a frenzied style game without you meaning to do so. The most challenging aspect of FIFA 11 for me is that while my best goals have come from patient play and not trying to force opportunities, the game 'wants' you to play fast. That's my take at least.

Regarding headers, I haven't had any problems defending headers in my Bundesliga 2 CM. HOWEVER, yesterday I played a friendly as Barca against Birmingham City and that fuck of a beanpole Zigic scored a fucking hat-trick on me, all headers! Also, after only playing my CM games for a few days, playing with top teams was a shock - even on slow the gamespeed felt dizzying, and I got cross-eyed just trying to keep up. Wow what a difference. It also didn't help that Birmingham was playing with their default defensive tactics.
 
Anyone had issues with custom camera angles in online clubs? I have my camera set to tele, but with the sliders back quite a few notches.

When I start a clubs game, the camera is default, until I pause and mess with a slider, then it jumps to how it should be. Trouble is, backing up then takes about 30 seconds, which is wasted every game.

Enjoying Mexican games with those massive Mexico 86 style nets. Brilliant. Liked Pes teh other week, but this week really enjoying Fifa, lots of good games against the cpu with edited custom tactics, lots of nice variation on goals and incidents. Ill upload some!
 
When you customise the CPU tactics, it's asks you to save your work, so do you choose an edited data slot and just save? As you can't actually overwrite the original. Does the CPU just use what you've saved?

Most people have this issue, and they have had this issue since the 09 version. A good old grandpa bug that EA wont put to sleep.

I just use co-op now. Pretty good at it's default. I used to customise tele by zooming all the way out and getting as low as possible but it's so annoying changing it every bloody game.

Give co-op a go is all I can recommend if you want to zoom out a bit and not have the camera swing.

Yeah mate. Its much like last year. You need to edit several different teams tactics and assign them through the leagues. Make sure though that shooting is in the 90's for every set of tactics you set . That may sound extreme but its the best for the game as the cpu are more likely to shoot when a half chance arrives. You can still affect the attacking style by setting the crossing and passing to get a barca or a bolton style but the cpu wont try and walk the ball in hardly.

Defensive teams are tough to breakdown too when you customise. Worth the effort in my opinion .

When it was my tun to go Any in clubs, my VP ended up in goals! WTF is that about?! He should have been one of the CB's as only 2 spaces were left. That needs fixing as they promised no more silly AI keepers!

Better get Pro-passing online switched on and working and also (can't bloody remember what I was going to say now!)

Hope the patch will be released soon and hope it won't screw up my excisting CM.

Placebo, do you know of any program to download the replays on our profile so we can view them without going to their stupid site. Much appreciated if you could help.
 
Anyone had issues finding players in Clubs? Last week was fine, this week all I ever get connected to are just me and about two other players. Usually almost all 22 players are in the lobby, now it's empty.......
 
Yes, if you wait a bit it should fill up. I've been having some lag lately. Last three games were really bad, before that I had ZERO lag, now it's unplayable. Oddly enough FIFA 10 always lagge for me.

Does anyone know what is considered 'agile'. I was able to do the agile celebrations for a few games. Then next game I get the weaker versions (didn't change anything on my player). Commentary also refer to me as a forward and I'm a CAM.
