LT is still close control like it has always been. Skilled dribble is similar to what FIFA 08 had with the same controls.

Also guys don't forget, when you're in a tussle use LT. If you time it right you can get the ball even when all is lost sometimes.

oh, ok, that makes sense to me ;)

anyway my impressions of the game is that EA finally done it!!!
i can see a infinite variaty of goals now because of these 3 reasons:

- THE INVISIBLE HANDS are gone from what ive seen so far

- the goal posts FEELS bigger, dunno why but now u dont need to hit the ball skiming the post to get it in without the super gk saving it.

- shoots have a lot more weight now, with is spot on, they dont baloon over the goal like in 09. like placebo said, they have topspin not, the phisics are pure art.

It's funny I keep running in the old 8/16 directions, my brain is so used to how you had to move in football games.

It's great to finally, for the first time in a FIFA game, being able to go through a tight defence Messi style. Having your opponents close to you but using your body and smart ball movement to keep in possession.

A lot of things really do remind me of the feeling I had while playing PES 5.

Burn it to dual layer discs and it won't work. You need to burn it to either a normal DVD+R or a normal DVD-R (but the latter will cause long loading times).

So thats by using LT and RT on new alternative?

I have been using just LT all these games telling my mates to look how good my dribbling is :LOL::DOH:

Your first goal, the lob, it's a delicate marvel. My favourite goals are skilled and unexpected sweet goals like that oine. Hope to start my ps3 demo soon! Great!

I burnt the content folder to a DVDR, but on my dashboard it just says mixed media disc and wont load? can someone give me some help

Just a note, not sure if any UK PS3 users have found this - but FIFA 10 only appears in the search list if you search for FIFA in the playstation store. Scroll all the way to the bottom, and it's the 5th item from the bottom.

Doesn't appear in the 'What's new' section...


Dang i wish i wasn't banned from xbox live. :)

Also it does appear if you go to ps3 games > sports. Its under there :)

EDIT: Ok it is under latest now. Finally :)

i know ive been downloading it for an hour now and its only at 38% i guess ill play it when i get in tonight so i think i'll take the day off from work tomorrow

Mine's downloading at about 1mb per 3sec. Which would take about 30mins. Not bad hey. Its usually much faster but the whole world is downloading atm...

Found another "bug" that was in 09 too. When you play against the CPU and he has a freekick you can stand in front of the closest player and he will still pass to him. This often happens when the defenders take the freekick, giving you a 2 on 1 situation. I don't understand how they can have missed this. Because they have fixed the CPU throw ins. Look how the CPU always make sure he has one player unmarked on throw ins. In 09 you could just do the same as with the freekicks, go in front of the player and take the ball easily.

wasted one hour
