Hey I’m dipping my my toes into FC26 modding ahead of FC27, and am blown away by your work. Huge congratulations!

I’m stunned to see the leg animation for sprinting completely toned down, and the first touch mechanic is sublime.

You’re progressing really well, and hope you continue to iterate. I hope you can really bring stats to the fore, so dribblers feel sharper, and those with high passing stats stand out.

Another thing would be shooting, currently I feel like I can finish with anyone. Same for weak foot shots, not sure if possible, but bringing major reduction to shots with weak foot and also with low shot stat players would be great. Thank you!

Update — TrueFoot v1.5 (TU 1.6.6) is up

Two things carry this one. First, the game's own Game Speed option (Slow / Normal / Fast) is hidden by default and this build unlocks it, so tempo is a setting again rather than an add-on file, and it was stabilised across Kick-Off and Career. As far as I know it is the first FC 26 gameplay mod to switch it on. Second, and this is where most of the work went, the CPU was pushed to play harder, which is what nearly all the feedback after 1.4 asked for.

• A second presser can actually arrive now. Midfielders joining a partial press were capped at roughly 40 percent of full speed, so the second man never got there. That cap was removed
• Defenders hold a contain stance for less time and the team press builds faster, so a long unchallenged carry out of your own half should be rarer
• Give and go was closed up. The marker was abandoning the runner on a wall pass, and that threshold was pulled right back
• Marking was reworked to track the man in front, so runners into the box should get picked up and through balls should stop being a free win
• Centre backs were tuned to step in and tackle at an angle rather than running beside the carrier
• The standing tackle read window is tied to the defender now, so a good one should decide quickly and a weak one should hesitate, instead of every defender throwing a leg at the first opportunity
• Fouls were adjusted so a challenge that takes the man down is more likely to be given, even when a toe touched the ball
• Your own defending does less by itself: the assistance window for holding the tackle button was cut below the base game's own value. Contact range, strength and angle were left alone, so it is the automatic lock-on that weakened
• Shot blocking was levelled. The AI was blocking from about half the distance an assisted player was, and moved at about a third of full speed to get in front of a shot
• CPU combination play was opened up, through ball timing was tuned, ball retention under pressure was raised, and it should be readier to shoot inside the box than force one more pass
• A CPU side that falls behind should press noticeably harder, and react early rather than only in the closing minutes
• CPU free kicks were reworked toward direct attempts, and its long range specialists were pulled back from near automatic
• CPU dribbling re-evaluates far more often, so carrying should read more distinct between players instead of running on rails
• Keeper distance shots were tuned toward parries and spills instead of clean catches

For anyone on the Tuning Pack, there is a new Difficulty category: eight options, each at the hardest setting the game files allow, and they stack. The interesting bit even if you never use it: the base game stops raising the CPU's off-ball work rate after Professional, so the top four difficulty levels all run the same amount, it stops improving the CPU keeper after World Class, and it caps a CPU mid-range shot at half power even on Legendary. Those were raised, along with CPU pressure, attack intelligence, defensive awareness, ball security, hidden boosts, match composure, and a handicap on the user side.

Update FIFA Mod Manager to 2.1.1 before installing, an older version is the first thing to check if the mod does not apply.
